Here's what the Bubba Kush looks like now. What do you think, should I let it go a little longer?

They look kinda milky but I don't have a real good microscope. I'm using the camera on my phone. I'll probably let them go for a while more cause there's still some white hairs. I may hand wash all the fan leaves with some dish soap solution. That should buy me a week or two.

Yeah she looks like she could go a little while more, and it all depends on what phone you have but you can download a really cool microscope, that's how I got all those close ups of the lace bugs on mine..

Thanks. I definitely learned something about managing outdoor grows and how to handle the pests. I also had a few caterpillars that damaged the Mystery plant before I could get BT on it. It's odd that they went for that one over the others but they messed up the main cola, so I probably lost about 1/2 oz . At least they didn't touch the lower buds. My guess is that the Bubba will end up giving me close to 4 oz, Big Bud close to 3 oz and Mystery will end up just about 2 oz. That means my 6 plants should end up producing about 14 oz. Maybe not the best, but for my purposes it'll do.

Same to you bro, I broke out the Somango XXL this week and I like it. Fruity and smooth. It definitely shows its sativa genes too. It starts out with an energetic heady high and a body buzz sets in later. I had to pick up the telecaster and start jamming. Next week will be Blue Mystic week!

Very nice, wish I knew what strains I have, but I'm very happy with all 3, very good indica dominate, one of them is straight couch lock...the other two are just mellow body high, and all 3 are very smooth hitting...cheers brotha to a good season.

The Borg ravaged my Orange Creamsicle but barely touched my Royal Nepal Kush, at the same time, same garden caterpillars tore up my cousin's Blue Dream but left his Gorilla Glue, JB Kush, and my plants alone. I had no idea until this year about how strain specific, pests are.

Your girls are looking great.

Good move leaving that Bubba to mature a bit. You really should buy a 30x or higher jewelers loop. If you have excellent vision you might see the ambers but a cheap loop makes all the difference when you need to spot them early.

I'm a little envious of your Big Bud. I got good memories from that stuff. It was the first bud I found to be an aphrodisiac. When I was 30 I was going out with this crazy little 21 year old punk rocker chick and we loved when that bud came around. She run around the street naked on that sh*t and nobody minded, at all, rofl.

That's a great story! I can relate to that. One of the reasons I got that strain is exactly for that reason. Brings back memories.

Ok, here's re-veg progress on the Somango XXL and Blue Mystic Pheno#1 I have them outdoors during the day and bring them in under a 315 cmh at night. They've had a little over 5 weeks in re-veg. The Big Bud and Mystery Madness are in their 3rd week of re-veg.
Somango and BM outside

Inside

Big Bud and Mystery are just starting to pop out with new growth

Hi everybody. I stumbled on this site after being re-born into the growing world. About 30 years ago when I was wet behind the ears I grew in closets and home built cabinets. Then responsibility hit me between the eyes and I took a job that I couldn't put in jeopardy. Now that California has come to it's senses, I decided to rise again like a phoenix from the ashes. I always wanted to do outdoor growing so I started out with six babies that popped out of some seeds from Nirvana and The Single Seed Centre. I got a late start of it but I don't really care. The three in the 5 gallon buckets are 3 1/2 weeks old. The one on the left is Somango XXL and the two on the right are Mystic Blue. The three in the small cups are Bubba Kush, Big Bud and some mystery seed they included with those two. They're about two weeks old.

Hi Like you I have become re-born. Right now I have Bubba And Duh Seven Dwarfs. 7 Bubba Kush sprouts. They just sprouted today. I haven't grown any weed in a real long time. Last time I grew weed it was packed in a brick and came from Mexico. Long time huh? And seeing how long its been I might even consider myself a beginner. Anyway, they say Bubba Kush doesn't grow very tall but I would like to get the maximum growth out of my seven little guys. I've looked all over the place to see if I could get the growth I'm looking for from 5 gallon buckets. I would appreciate your thoughts on the subject. Is a 5 gallon bucket enough to get maximum height you think for my seven little dudes? Like you I'm a California type guy. Oh Also, the planter that looks like there's nothing in it is actually a sprout that hasn't dropped the seed pod. I hope it doesn't kick off.

Hey bro, funny that you stumbled on this old post! Yeah, I did like the 5g pots back then but you won't get maximum growth. I've since moved to 25g soft pots and I'm getting small trees. 5g pots are ok if you want to be low profile.
