Hey! So I am doing my first attempt at crossing genetics and have found a handful of red seeds. What do red seeds mean? Are they...Good? Bad? Or what??

Thanks guys!!

(Might post this on another board because I'm not sure where is the proper place for this question)

Can you post a picture of these "Red" seeds?
Small red beans

My understanding is that we (as humans) are attempting to adjust flower characteristics through selective breeding.
If point of sale decisions are being made on seeds 'look', I'd think that the red die they once put on pistachios would be just as effective to boost sales.

I have seen barley seed that was red as the result of anti-fungal treatment.
Perhaps you have stumbled upon commercial hemp seeds?

probably some sort of preservitive pickle like used on grain crops . Our barley always comes out red after a seasons storage.
