Starting a “remote” indoor grow?

Any tips or tricks that work for y’all as far as inexpensive “monitoring” or automation that I should consider?

What I’m using...

5X5 Tent
1000 Watt Magnum 6” XXL
Phresh Filter 6X12 450 cfm
VivoSun 6” 390 cfm fan
7 gallon Smart Pots
Organic Hot Mix

For...9 Critical Kush.

Help me make this easy!?!

Well first of all anything worth doing is going to take a certain level of dedication and work. Whether it’s “easy” or not will still take some time and work. Have you grown before?

For starters it’s going to be hard to know when your soil is ready for watering. I would suggest a hydroponic system for a remote location as you’ll need everything automated and IMO soil and automated don’t mix. You got allow wet dry cycles and those can vary

A lot more info is needed to actually get a plan in place.

TJB thanks for the response.

Medi .. I will read all your links.

Naw ... the “plan” is in place and initiated. 100% success thus far. Soil it will be as “remote” is only an hour drive and I’m using what is stated.

Right on brotha I like it. How old are the plants? Got any pics?
I didn’t mean to sound rude just a lot of times guys expect the results without the work that goes in.
So are you watering by hand? Or did you automate it? How often do you get out to work in them? Just curious brotha.

I would water by hand. I used to run substrate coco blend and water 30mims after lights on and 4 hours before lights off to 15-30% drain. Sometimes I would miss an irrigation or two, no big dealbreaker.

Should I just kill the funky looking ones from early on to prevent headaches later?

FYI - The 2 fugly ones (labeled Nasties below) were from "Critical Kush" bag seeds a buddy gave me.

Is Space an issue? I would write it out a little bit longer if you can see how they pull out of the early growth
