Can I remove these early fan leaves to allow light in. Still vegetation period. About a month.

remove ALL the big fan leaves - looks like 6 to be removed

i loathe taking fan leaves off they store food and act as a buffer however yes you can or you can tuck them under.

If you do any defoliation only do 10% at a time it’s less stressful on the plant

I dont like to remove them either but i would take the big one on top off. Leave the rest

I'm another for leaving them on but tucking them
