Interesting topic here. I have a few questions.

Wouldn't a higher dose of N force the plant into producing growth hormones. I know if I hit a deep flowering plant with an alfalfa tea it would freak the hell out and shoot off new fruitless branches. It seem this would act the same way on the reveg process. Or would that just be to much for it and fry her? Maybe using a tea with out root pruning would speed up the process. Being able to push light and N it seems would get her metabolic rate up again forcing her to grow? Just some thoughts. I dont know I've never revegged a plant before.

I would also think foliar sprays with alfalfa teas would spark the want to grow. Or would that again just be too much for her to take.

Final question do those clones you take with buds on them ever get back to full veg power fast growth or are they then slowed for life?

Can't give you any insight on the bud clone, never have tried that but about to. On the nitrogen aspect of your question,go lightly on the N. It seems to want to kill the plant if to much nitro is present. That has been my experience with this process, I have revived close to a hundred anyway throughout a 35 year span. I always have better luck treating these lightly.Never have trimmed the roots or changed the medium either but good idea to be able to put these in smaller containers.

In my experience my flowered clones grow just as vigorous as the original mom once rooted.

Good information in here. I've had a few once I saw them in action I've kicked myself for not saving. Good to know theirs so many possibilities out their for cloning and saving plants.

So basically with the N as usual less is more. Keep it simple.

What I do is cut off 2\3rds of the plant of the top, then take the decent flowers from the hottom leaving every leaf and branch on possible, put back in veg room on whatever nute regimen the plant was on when in veg to start with ,and superthrive, you should see good results in a month, ive done it a few times with females and males,if the plants goin to reveg it doesn't usually take too long,76

Yea they can be different after reveg, such as smell, potency, vigour and many other differences but they can also be exactly the same as before reveg, think it has a lot to do with how stable the plant is to start with and reveg conditions etc, hope the reveg takes,76

Looks like everybody here has the same basic principals, anyway. Only difference I see is the variation on what to feed her to get her back up and thriving.Like anything else in life, you have to see what works for you. Now go and recissatate that bitch.

Revegging works best if you can remove all the flowers but still leave at least a few nodes and put him or her under 24 hr veg. i usually let the plant go hungry a lil and them feed a light veg nute regimen.

Heres my Kiwi alien bubba boy after about 4 weeks reveg after i pollinated my girls. this is one way to keep tested males.

Guys,

I have a situation on my hands... the keeper plant i wanted to reveg is showing some balls??? These were fem seeds but i had a few issues in the early stages of flowering. I noticed about 10 days ago some were throwing naners but didn't think much of it cuz i was going to chop in another 10 days.

Will this be the case if revegged and cloned? I mean it doesn't look like a lot of balls... I've had this happen to me with cheery pie clones before. Wondering if the stress, heat and over feeding caused this or just a fem thing? First time running seeds, not sure if i should be posting this here but figured i would give it shot.

could be a number of things. when I reveg I dont mess with the roots as I dont wanna stress the plant. the call is up to you but for me I dont have time for anything that hermis. on a commercial scale its just not worth my risk.

I hear ya, i really haven't got a good look at the whole plant it's in the back of my tray against the wall. I'll see how many are on it this weekend when i chop. The cherry pie i just pull the the sacks and always turns out fine. Will the seeds be worth sprouting off this plant?

Ive had a few keepers that nanner late in flower but they never seeded anything so i kept them around. but for the most part I dont keep anything that hermis easy. as a hobby you can try them out and see. for commercial i would toss them. hermis tend to breed hermis imo. best wishes

Have never had that happen but then I don't mess with fems. I stay with regs. Most plants at the end of the cycle throw a few nanners. They realize that they have come to an end and are trying to reproduce itself. I agree with cannapits, even if not for commercial use. I'm afraid I would not want that around. That could really mess a lot of stuff up.

Can you grow and reveg indefinitely, like basically turn what should be an annual into a perennial?

Have not tried more than once. That's an awful lot of stress time after time. Probably develop some kind of stress related diseases or such

Just looks frail, stalks normally triple in size.from the size of your pinky finger to twice thumb size. Must be a small plant to begin with, possibly a tester for you? How long was it before you could start taking clones on this? 4-6 weeks? Are you under flouros for this and what was your feeding regiment? Sorry for all the questions but I do this all the time, just looking at some things. It's nice to be able to save something you really like,ay.

Does look fucked up,the fact it's still alives a good sign, lollipopman, you can take the dead stuff off now,i also find it revegs quicker/healthier. If it's put back on 18/6,iv tried it 20\4 and 24 hrs light, ive found it works best putting it back to the light and feed schedule they were on at flip revegs best, like knows coz it's done it before, sometimes you can't let a girl go,76

It was a tester, I had 12 clones in flower one decided to hermie so I chunked everything in veg. I finished the 11 but they never hermied so maybe just that one clone was stressed for some reason. Any way this was under a t5 20/4 light and around 8 weeks before I could take clones.
