So today I got a new camera. I picked up a Nikon D3200 DLSR. I'm gonna have to play with it for a while to learn the settings. I need a nice Macro lens and light ring. Can any1 recommend a nice one?
I def wanna see how ur cut compares to the one I have. They r on dif ends of the spectrum. It will be cool to see the dif in High, Bag Appeal, Smell and Taste. Thanx for the info, Natural. This is my first DLSR camera. I wanna learn how to optimize its use in all situations. I go to a lot of Car Shows, Drag Races, Cannabis Cups, Concerts and Sporting events. It will be a great addition to my photo collection. I would like to take some classes for photography and learn more about the dif lenses, lighting, etc.Anything in the $400-$500 range would be good enough for your Nikon I think, Nikkor, Tamron, Tokina. If you call B&H in New York they will give you the low down for your budget for free.
Have you thought about getting an older manual focus lens. They can be very fast and economical. Unless you prefer AF..which is nice for bugs or something that moves. Otherwise something like this will work...just use a tripod and maybe a homemade light/soft box..like they do for product fotog. Those light rings can be trouble for getting in close with a prime..something to think about.
That's on my to do list..get some primes and macros..pretty sick of these kit lenses.
