Well it depends where you got it if it’s the Schuyler skunk, really, people say it was gone and lost. But I wouldn’t doubt it was held tight after stuff might’ve happened, apparently they made 6k a pound locally. Could you share the photos that you comparedSo far it has all the signs of a real skunk plant but this is the first time flowering them so I don't know what the buds will be like yet. Will find out very soon.
Right on, never ran any bodhi seeds but those sound like they would be really good.
I've read about a few skunks from KY, VA and OH. Fairfax 4 Way, Schuyler Skunk, VB Ghani, Appalchian Skunk, Meigs County, but they were all before my time.
Just looked at some photos of the Schuyler Skunk and the leaves and bud structure look very similar, almost identical. It very well could be that but idk for sure.
It hasn't really been let out anywhere from what I know. I have IG but don't use it that much.
Saw a bunch of people talking about it and people from the area say it's still around. Local strains are usually like that, same with those prices too.Well it depends where you got it if it’s the Schuyler skunk, really, people say it was gone and lost. You’re in VA? I would totally give it a shot outdoors..Those 5 point leaves from OG with the big middle leaflet are very similar to the 5 point leaves on mine. Similar buds too but idl for sure. View attachment 2237195
Hard to say from the ones you posted, will have to check it out on the site. I know outdoors will throw some different expressions too.
Our outdoor season is way too short and this strain would take too long around here but I wouldn't doubt it would do great outdoors with the right conditions.
I'm in the northeast, not in VA. Had a few plants outdoors this year but I pulled them. Too wet, too cold, high humidity, lots of bugs, short season, and the powdery mildew + bud rot get really bad around here. Don't have those issues indoors. You’re in VA? I would totally give it a shot outdoors..
How is that abomination looking? Is the smell a total gag fest?Agreed! Such a beautiful plant all around. The smell is straight up bright skunk spray, similar to the skunk spray smell from sour diesel. Very stinky but not to the point of being gross or nasty. Have the exhaust running 24/7 now and burning incense, but I can still smell skunk over everything.
That has been the best description I've seen yet! Pea soup thick, Gag-a-maggot cloud.FUCK YEAH! So stoked for you bro! That oily, skunky, pea soup thick, gag-a-maggot cloud is it, damn, getting memories of thousands of dirt road miles and catching whiffs in those spots that would linger all summer and into fall. My buddy had a nice sized one a hundred yds off the road you could smell it when the air was still. It was bag seed from legit kentucky skunk! Thanks and heres to real skunkweed..
Oh …. That’s a sign alright. A dam good one !Just smelled these skunks over 400ft away. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is. You can definitely smell it on the road.
