Hey guys finally got a grow update for you. My garden got infected with the Hops viroid and all my prized cuts. Fire OG and a bunch of rad stuff had to all get thrown in the trash. After full reset and sterilization Im back in the game. This is the Roadkill Skunk “Abomination” from Infused. I’m right at week 7 and we’re getting close to the finish line…

These are my clones outside under the kicker light. I’m gonna deep top these guys and flower them in the 4x4 just like in the video. This cut is rather tall growing so chopping the tops off helps keep the height down.

Week 10 update. I added a zoom shot so you guys can see what the flowers looks like. Although the leaves got hit pretty hard with those thrips overall I’m impressed how tough and resilient this strain is. Especially for a vintage cut. It put on nice weight with lots of frost!

Yeah for sure. That branch from the closeup pic was the tallest one. It was standing through the trellis higher than any other branch. That one got so heavy with flowers that it flopped over. I’m not gonna tie it up I’m only about a week from chop. I love how heavy the flowers are it looks like they will be very dense.

Ok fellas here is the final chop. Smells awesome and I can’t wait to see what the finished cured product smells like in the jars. The yield looks awesome! I really can’t complain at all. Usually when I harvest my 4x4 tent I have enough branches to fill up the single hanging line. On this harvest I had to tie up a second hanging line to hold all the branches!

Thanks again to Infused for hooking me up with this Old School cut…

Yeah when the breeze is just right it carries pretty good. I could smell it from my front sidewalk and the plants are hanging up in my backyard.

Most of us old timers that were there and grew skunk know there were many called skunk. Most lived up to the name in the early to late 80’s. After the 80’s there wasn’t much “skunk” to be had honestly.
Everyone started growing the Dutch hybrids. The early Dutch offerings had some nice things in them but by the early 2000’s everything from Hollland was so bastardized it all looked and tasted the same.

I tend to agree with this. Everyone is looking for those old school Mothership strains from decades past. The ones that started it all before they were crossed and watered down. That’s where the fire is at! I’m just glad I found a pretty descent old school cut took me forever.

On my pervious harvest I had Qty 4 plants with each in a 5 gallon pot. Each of them were deep topped. I had a stellar harvest and my biggest single top flowers were pushing 1/4oz each. Like coke can sized nugs they were beautiful.

On my current grow I packed 8 plants in the same 4x4 each in a 3 gallon pot. No topping, I let them grow tall however I used intense LST and 90 degree bend elbows to manipulate these fuckers to fit the space. Like cannabis bonsai. This is the Abomination skunk cut at week 6 of flower. About half way to finish. I don’t think I can fit any more flowers in this tent we are reaching critical mass .

Number 6 is the smelliest! She is female mazari shariff, with male pollen from Santa marta x balkhi afgani. Next step is taking her and putting against acapulco gold crossed to burmese x afgani. I call her cristal. The aca is champagne forward, and burmese has a different kinda of champagne flavor also. Yooper skunk here we go!! View attachment 2407798
