Been quite a few months since I’ve posted anything. We’re back in our other property now and I had to move all my grow equipment back over. I had not 1… But 2 subsequent grow failures back to back at the spot . Oh well I guess you live and learn. Last time I grew at this property was over 7 years ago. It was before my son was born so I had closet setups inside the house at the time. We got A/C so it was easy peasy growing. Fast forward to today we got 2 kids so mama isn’t gonna let me grow inside anymore. Understandable. So I’m out on the backyard patio and all my tents are in the garage now. Well the garage here is probably solid 10 degrees hotter than the garage at our other property. Low ceiling with no rafters and also south facing so the roof just gets blasted by the sun all day. All my hydroponic reservoirs had water hitting over 80 degrees in March due to heat . Had to eventually get a chiller setup on my hydro to combat the oxygen loss and root rot. The thrips followed me over also and fucked my shit up good! It was like full scale tent warfare! Well anyways I didn’t have anything positive to post for months so no sense in showing nothing but problems . However finally back in the game! Got the heat under control now and the thrips are finally fully nuked! Look to be gone for good!
So grow update. Got the Abomination skunk cut running outdoors in the corner. Love this little strip it’s always got the best sun! Sun hits it almost all day long and acts like a wind corridor gets a nice beach breeze the plants love it! 10 gallon soil. I deep topped these girls or they would already be over the fence! You can see the lanky Sativa/Skunk look in the grow structure and leaves. Looking nice and healthy! These two will be flowered in my 4x4 in the garage. Heavy LST will be used to combat limited headroom.

Inside the 4x4 got the Abomination cut going full speed. Got 7 plants going all in 3 gallon fabric pots and soil. Got nutrients dialed in I’m running them hot a little burning on the tips but she can take it. Stacking really nice.
I will be starting a breeding program with this cut to try to lock it into seed form. I love the cut EXACTLY like it is however it’s easy to loose a cut to disease or accidents. Seeds will allow me to store her for many years.
I currently am starting a large Male hunt. My goal is to pop dozens of old school packs and cull out 100% of the females. At this point I am only searching for stinkiest male that I can find to pair with the mother. I’m gonna pay for Farmer Freedman then only keep males to save space. Hottest male will cross to Abomination mom for F1 then I plan on back-crossing all the way to BX5 to try to lock in as much mother traits that I can.

Also got a pack of Maruf Kandahar from FullPower. Sourced from rural hashish farmers near the Afghan/Pakistan boarder. Owner claims no other strain has smelled more like decay or death that he has ever smelled. Sounded promising and also very different from normal run of the mill club genetics you find here in SoCal.
I’ll keep you guys posted as I move forward! Hopefully I can find one of those resin males with crystals! Peace out!

Yeah I soaked those Maruf Kandahar seeds overnight and they have been in wet paper towels for a day or so. No taproots yet but man I sure hope they germinate . I have a lot of hope in that pack specifically cuz it’s EXACTLY what I want in male form if I can find it. Ammonia pissy gassy nasty funky rude.
I heard JAWS genetics talking on another forum about the original Trainwreck he’s working with. He said the Oldschool TW he has a different kind of gas more like kerosine on the nose. Not your normal Diesel gas it’s a different vibe. The TW I grew 20yr ago had what he’s describing. I know what he’s talking about. I originally called in “Ammonia” or “Rubbing Alcohol” cuz those are the closest smells that I could think of. Hard to describe but it’s a blast to the senses and Kerosene is a good descriptor
I bought some of the JAWS Trainwreck packs. He did a TW cross with an old school skunky cheese from UGORG in the UK. Those packs I’m gonna try to sift through to find males that lean on the TW side. Sure wish I could get pure TW pollen however it’s clone only strain so males can only be obtained through an F1.
I was searching the Internet yesterday looking at Catpiss genetics and stumbled across this one. They were 50% off for Memorial Day so I went ahead and bought two packs. Lots of fem Catpiss stuff out there but I need regular seeds. The parent linage on this one looks good so we will see how they come out…

Stuff starting to go now. I’m bummed I lost the Maruf but oh well. Mouse one me zero. Anyways got mostly Trainwreck Hybrids going here. Got the TW x Cheese and also the TW x NL5 those are both F1. Then I got the TW x AK47 that’s an F5. Lastly we also have a few Catpiss in there. One Catpiss x GMO.
Most vigorous beans so far hands down are the Chemdog x Headband. Exploded out of the shells and caught up to sprouts a whole week ahead of them. Impressive speed. Those were gifted to me from a guy on here named GrowSince79. The pics of those Chem x Headband that he grew were insane looking! He was kind enough to gift me some beans . Let’s hope we might that champion male!
Shits about to get crazy. I might regret this decision but fuck it we’re going for it . These girls got WAY bigger than expected in these 10 gallon pots. Outdoor sunshine blew these girls up nice! Both were deep topped in mid veg. These Sativa leaning girls would be 9ft if not deep topped.
We’re gonna try to finish these girls inside the 4x4 without growing into the light. Wish me luck cuz we’re gonna need it! Day one of 12/12 starts today.

Day 9: Stretch is starting to go full speed now. Orange 90 degree clips are slowly being added to the taller branches to turn them horizontal instead of vertical. I will be starting to add ropes to slowly pull down the thicker branches which will help me add more room for topside stretch. First layer of trellis will also be added soon…
