Do you have pictures of your plants? I have the ROI-E720 in one of my tents. I start seedlings in a different tent and then move them in to veg and flower. Earlier veg, 18"-24" light distance and 50%. Later in veg when the plants are beginning to bush out I use the same light distance and boost it to 75%. During flower it's set at 100%. I set the light at about 18" and let the plants stretch into it until they are about 10"-12" from the light before raising it again. Once they stop stretching, as long as no signs of light stress, you can settle in at about 12".Second grow with this light and I still don't really understand how high I should be keeping the light and at what percentage. Currently I have seedlings that are 18 inches from the light and at 40% on the dimmer. When should I increase the dimmer and lower or raise the height of the light? I cant seem to find much online.
Currently 24 inches from the light to the soil. Sprouts are maybe 1 inch tall. One seed hasn't sprouted yet.Do you have pictures of your plants? I have the ROI-E720 in one of my tents. there is an app for light, get it
Lux Meter (Light Meter) - Apps on Google Play
Professional light intensity (lux) meter for your android device.play.google.com
use this and i will have to look at my notes for the starting points, but that age and size low, and it is not a huge deal
Clones and seedlings: 2,000–4,000 lux and doesnt matter so much
Vegetative growth: 15,000–30,000 lux start at 20, watch plant. you are looking for leaves pointed up "praying"
Flowering: 45,000–110,000 lux the upper end needs co2. try starting at 65,000, watch and adjust
as for how high, try this (this is REAL wattage, so on an led look at actual wattage, an led that says 1000 is normally only 100w maybe 150w. no real standard.
the key to it all is to spend the time watching them and adjust as they tell you
- 5” to 11” for 150W lights
- 6” to 13” for 250W lights
- 8” to 19” for 400W lights
- 9” to 25” for 600W lights
- 11” to 31” for 1,000W lights
ok I downloaded the meter, the ROI-E 680 is 680 watts. It has 40,60,80 and 100 percent settings. So I want to keep the light 9 to 25 inches? And then also make sure the lux is within the range stated above? So if the lux is too high bring the light up, too low bring it down? When to I change the light percentages?there is an app for light, get it

Watch for light stress. 15-20k is ballpark, but individual plants will behave differently sometimes. Sometimes the difference is simply moving the plant a few inches away from the center of the light if you see light stress.Currently at the same height as my seedlings I am at 20k lux, light is 24 inches away. Light is at 40%
I have no idea what light stress is hahaim just guessing, but someone who asks about light distance isnt going to recognize light stress. you might want to define what that is, and what it looks like
Ok fair enough ... Here's some extracurricular reading for you: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/light-burnI have no idea what light stress is haha
