What about people growing out S1's of Dr. Greenthumbs Ghost OG? That would be another cut of Ghost floating around. Not the original but still ghost og. Or could be that the other cut i saw just wasnt grown out properly but still same cut. Doubt it but possible

Ghost s1 cuts should be referred to as such in order to avoid confusion. Or even given a new name. Calling it Ghost OG is misleading and wrong.

This is why some folks don't even wanna call their OG cut by a name. It ends up getting bastardized by some bagseed/s1 bullshit.

And there is def a fake ghost cut that is dative dom nd goes 75 days happily and looks quite diesel esq.
Unfortunately a lot of people have this mislabeled cut and it goes wayyyy back to someone's mix up.

Real ghost is straight og. Tight smallerish buds done at 60-67

lol.. i find it so humorous when i see non-californians claim they are growing OG from seed.. and then rant about how much it smells like OG. How the fuck do they know what OG smells like if they arent even growing the clone onlys? Sure your seed may be dank. but it aint OG..

We will see about the ghost og s1 from greenthumb I am awaiting cuts from a 5 pack and you don't have to be from cali to know what real og smells like LMAO. I've grown the original clone only sfv og and it was awesome lemony pinesol fuel but cloned like shit and the guy I got it from won't talk to me anymore for some reason LOL.

This whole OG fad cracks me up. there is only one OG and it has been around for a decade. I have been doing this a long ass time and there has been lots of phases. there was the panama red phase, the afgani phase, the nl phase, the skunk phase, the haze phaze, the white phase, the purp phase, the fruit smells phase, the cinderella phase, the diesel/chem phase. There is always a hot new flavor. The OG's and the Girl scout cookies are what is hot now. soon it will be something else. people are getting burnt out on the OG's. It's like eating the same thing everyday. Steak is good and all, but sometimes it's nice to have fish, lamb, chicken, or pork. variety is the spice of life.

All the weed in the phases has been very good. I like to breed with the best of the best from each of the old phases and revamp stuff I miss.

Yeah.. for the most part you do need to be from cali. unless you got enough pull to source the real deal cuts from a reputable person.

and guess what? the SFV doesnt clone like shit. Judging by your statement, you didnt have the real cut.

the sfv og is not the original that stuff just popped up about 4 years ago. OG is Over Grow Kush it has been around for over a decade. There has been a million crosses since. I was on over grow when they were breeding it, and came out with it. Then the sight got shut down and raided by the government and a lot of info was lost.

Breeders on the sight like BOG and DJ short took me under their wind and taught me how to grow since I was 16. Their stuff is better than all the OG's it's true connoisseur herb. OG is just for a punch in the face stone super high that breeders on the sight created for pain meds mostly.

dont get me wrong. I love all the og kushes. great herb. just getting over done like a song on the radio.
