Here is a pic of a bushy heirloom Romulan lady that I grew legally w/ a doctor's recommendation in SoCal. I crossed it with a Romulan Male, so the seeds are F2's and I have plenty of them.
:boogie:

I found this version of heirloom Romulan I was lucky enough to encounter turn out very much sativa dominant, in spite of some strain reviews which describe it as supposedly indica dominant. It is early flowering, carrying a distinct citrus/pine/mint/buttery smell, short inter-node length, highly resinous, and a soaring sativa high. Not skunky during veg like the purple-stemmed "bubba kush" indica I also grew. Some minor variation in pistil color pheno expression, the recessive trait being purple pistils, and red/orange pistil trait dominant. Other expressed phenos were conistent.

Grown in the Cali sun outdoors in coir strictly organic.

I started the seeds in February and the pictured (seeded) plant finished outdoors in mid-late September.:harvest:

Any input?

They look real nice. Looking pretty manageable for Sat dom. How much did they stretch? Have you got any close up (near) finished bud shots? Soon...:harvest:

Thanks, Jenna! I'm trying to spread the seed far and wide.
Another year indeed! I much prefer a sticky sativa high.

I don't like the leaves. Reminds me of nasty mexican I got in Cancun.

What's the bud/smoke like?

Nice plant, outside is special!

pretty sure the leaves look like that cuz it revegged a bit from being put out to early. they go down to 1 blade and get sorta a web 3 pointer look when they come back out of it. as far as the leaves on the plant in the last shots im sure they look better.

great looking plant how much did she yeild

yielded around a half lb. the amount of trimming necessary through both growth and harvest was intense but worthwhile. this mother did reveg a bit after some early budding far before the solstice when it was transplanted from the ground into a 5 gallon on a west facing balcony. fast to show sex. it finished outdoors mid septemberwhen the indica next to it finally was only in its first weeks in flowering (seeds started and plants transplanted alongside each other).

The buds of this lineage were consistently very frosty, pine/citrus flavor, the curing bud had a unique sharp citrus, buttery smell. most plants had red or orange pistils, but a recessive phenotype had purple pistils. great for making hash too.

I never took pics other than shitty res camera-phone shots at harvest that did not turn out any decent detail.

This is great to hear real Romulan was never a Indica and it did not taste like grapes it taste like pine, the grape Rom is a cross i think Next Gen did, you have a closer version of the clone that Rom Joe put out.
