What room size would you recommend for a sealed room?

This is what I am planning on for basic equipment:

20 x 1000w vertical HPS
5 ton A/C
1/2hp (3/4hp?) chiller
CO2 gen. and controller
150gal res.
Sufficient inline, osc. fans, and duct boosters if needed.

Obviously didn't include timers, controllers and other misc. items.

Thanks for your help!

50x50x 15-20ft height.... i got CCUCXL16... my setup in is a 45' x 35' x 12ft high, but thats with 8 gallon buckets, with the size of your buckets your gonna need alot higher overhead...

What plant centers are you going to run? the 40" you may want to run your verts at 600, and you may want to use some horizontals. By my calculations you need something like 6 Ton worth of A/C, and 1 HP Chiller.

If you can tell me what you want your plant centers to be, I will gladly help give you some dimensions and an idea of what it would look like.

In my experience if the lights are not air cooled you will need at least 6-7 tons of AC in there. I would do 8 tons to have the units cycle properly.

Room size, like said above, would depend on your centers. I believe the XXL13 is 40" centers. Are the res's sitting in the room or outside? It would be nice to have room to walk around and get in when you required to fix something, or work on plants.

I would add that at 40" centers 1k might be to much. You would either want to dial them down to 600, or consider 50-55" centers.

I was thinking of going with larger centers than the 40" standard. Maybe 55" centers, with enough room to be spacious enough on each side for comfort. Res would be outside the room.
