I found a neat and better yet FREE tool for room planning.

floorplanner[DOT]com

It lets you do waht the name says, even has some basic 3D stuff but best part of me is how easy it is. check it out next time you are setting up.

Looks interesting.

A lot of peeps are using google sketchup.

yeah sketchup is nice

this is just a bit faster, and I have found the pre-built stuff pretty useful for generating floorplans
