hello farmers I have made a video for you all I have had a few root aphids but dealing with them and I was scoping the coco the other day and found this https://youtu.be/GeFhqkwaupw do you think its a springtail or root aphid? whichever it is I'm glad that the additives are killing them ! also I found this worm thing crawling about I have fed them a ewc tea could the worm be from there I don't think its a fungus gnat as it has no black head https://youtu.be/Hgx7-rX527M thank you fellow farmers

First video: If that video is at full speed, it is not a springtail. They move around ALOT

Second Video: Looks like pot worms. Not a problem as far as I am concerned. Not as good as seeing a red wiggler though.

First video looks like possible ra definitely not springtail.
Second video is nasty it would creep me out seeing that in my coco. I had a friend call me up awhile ago describing what I think is what's in that second video but I have never seen that.

So second video looks like a baby earth worm so I'm going with sesh it's def not a fungus gnat. First video looks like an aphid but not sure. I am sure it's no springtails. I've had root aphids but they weren't translucent like that. However I didn't see them at all stages of development. It also doesn't look like an aphid. Lol. Could be anything and root aphids have very pronounced smoke stacks protruding from their ass. That thing doesn't. I'd isolate it in another container and see what it turns into I'm sure it will morph into something else. Fucking gross ass bugs. Lol. Solid video though. A lot of questions could be answered much better if more people put those up.

U usually will see root aphids in very nasty tight groups sucking the life out of your healthiest roots. That is def very aphid like but I don't see anything else. Like a group I mean. And those fungal blooms are they myco or did u inoculate with met 52 it looks a lot like a met 52 bloom up close.. Just curious.

Maybe hypoaspis miles in the first vid.

I had some hypoaspis before but they were fast moving bugs. Can you count the legs on your critter?

The white worm is hard to tell the scale, but I think it's a "pot worm". Google that. It's a little white worm that tend to live in....pots

thank you for your help yes @Tnelz that is myco bloom from ogbiowar I'm sure the root aphid is dying when before I added the biowar they were really fast red bettles so thinking that its a root aphid in a early form I will keep adding the biowar teas , I have seen some fliers so put a layer of perlite ontop maybe they don't like the biowar thanks again peeps

The foliar pack kills them. Not telling you it will wipe them out but it def does a number on them. Root drench and foliar. When u do spray spay entire plant pot dirt floor whatever. Get that shit everywhere. Good luck and no problem man.

I'd gladly explain but what exactly do you want me to explain. Hypoapsis miles is much darker than the bug in that video. Also you would see them in much higher numbers and they dwell in the top of the soil and pot. Not saying they don't go further into the dirt but ime they stay in the top inch or inches of the soil. I have them all over my room and they are a fantastic bug to have.

Thanks that explanation is sufficient. I was going on Google pics that show them both reddish brown and translucent white.

So I'd agree that there are mites of all colors. Even hypoapsis I suppose has a wide range well at least a wider range than I'm giving them credit. But the thing in that pic is no mite. I don't want to watch the video again for fear of getting the heebie jeebies lol.

same here so I put the perlite on top of the coco not seen any flier or crawler so I have another problem I have ordered beneficial nematodes to clean up any stragglers can I just water the nematodes through the perlite will it affect them ? will they still work thanks farmers

no need for the nematodes the perlite has sorted it out cheers farmers
