Hi im a new farmer 5 weeks in to my first grow I have 6 blue cheese plants they have been in 11lt pots for 2 weeks now and the roots are poping out the bottom of the pots already :/ should I transplant them in to 18lt pots before I start flowering next week? any advice would be great thanks.

Ok cheers lads I thought the 11lt pots would be my final pots I should have just bought 18lt pots and not wasted my time with the 11lts never mind tho its more about leaning on my first grow ill transplant on sunday and give them a couple more days veg before switching my lights to 12/12 :) thanks for your advice.

You'll have to give me a smoke report when its all said and done, Ive found that strain to be a bit lacking..

Will do mate Iv always loved blue cheese hope my grow turns out as good as the the cheese iv smoked in the past :)

If you veg less next time 11l should get you threw your flowering. Bigger plants bigger pots. Which most the timw equals bigger yields, but not always.

Very true mate I learnt that the hard way and had to spend more money on bigger pots and more soil :/ iv learned so much on my first grow ill only veg for 2 weeks next time tho :)

Start of week 8, 2 weeks till harvest day :) this is my first grow of 6 blue cheese in a 1m square tent with a 600w hps lamp. Id appreciate any feed back on how they look if anyone has grown blue cheese before :)

Hello farmers need some help my blue cheese is just about at the end of week 8 im not sure if the trichomes are ready to harvest I was planning on taking them 9 weeks can someone let me know if they are ready for the chop by these pics. Thanks

You need a scope no one can tell by those pics if those are ready for harvest or not..

Maybe if your pics were clear and maybe if your attitude were better you would get some help.
Imo You should just harvest. Then find a better site to pout on.

Cut a bud off do a brown bag dry and smoke it if u like it cut er down if u dont give it alil longer, to me i see cloudy and clear wait till u see amber trichomes about 30% and then chop

If your going to bash this site and its members you'll get banned quick! Is that really how you ask for help? Maybe try reading a bit. I know your all excited about your first grow, We've all been there! Looks good so far go get a scope like Dabbie said. Be a little more humble next time buddy.;) Stick around and learn something.

You other guys could be a little less abrasive. Show a little more love to these newbies! I hate to see threads get derailed with bickering and name calling that we mods have to clean up. :vomit: Have a doobie with your coffee its pretty amazing! :cigar: :woot:
