Hello everyone.
I just got diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of weeks ago. I've been convinced in medicinal properties of cannabis for years, but now it became personal.
As you can imagine the doctors, friends and family are pushing for chemo, radiation and surgery, so the pressure is there. I just spoke to my nurse coordinator and she said they don't know what stage it is because, she said, I'm so young, my breast so dense and I have no prior mammogram.
The greatest obstacle to making my own oil is how to obtain the needed Indica strains. I've smoked bud for 20 years now who imagined it would be so difficult to get what I need.... because of the desired THC content. I've had the lump in my breast for 8 weeks now, I'm getting pretty desperate as I don't know how long I've had the cancerous cells. Despite my suggestion not to buy any oil premade due to scammers, hubby went behind my back and bought the 30% CBD oil today online.(https://cbdoilreview.org/product/endoca-raw-hemp-oil-3000mg/)
I know he's only trying to help, but I don't think that's what I need. It was quite expensive (about $400) but I couldn't persuade him otherwise.
Here's some questions, hopefully someone can advise:
1. Am I messing myself up if I start the oil hubby bought that has no THC content? should I wait with it until I can obtain the RSO oil? or can I safely start with this commercial one?
2. I live in Maryland. Cannabis isn't legal here, but there are dispensaries in DC. would it raise a red flag if I suddenly tried to obtain a residency in DC so I become eligible for medical csnnabis? It doesn't seem hard to make the oil, but obtaining the Indica seems so hard. I looked at the seeds and will talk to hubby layer today about growing it ourselves. This man, until recently so much against week because it's illegal, is now willing to drop our life as we know it, pack up our stuff and our kids and move to Colorado, just so I could be better. He believes in the oil more than I do now, but just this summer we had an argument because I came home high.
3. I keep seeing Colorado this Colorado that. Do I need a licence to visit a dispensery there or could I just travel there and purchase the needed strain legally?
4. Does anyone know people who have beaten the cancer with RSO oil and are still alive? Maybe even people who have not done chemo first? Possibly breast cancer survivors?

I feel so alone, everyone trying to be sympathetic but it's not the same. Plus everyone around me is looking at me like i'm crazy for declining chemo and they even play the "you have your kids to think about, don't be selfish with your weed mumbo-jumbo" card.

Thanks everyone in advance, I've read some threads on the topic on this website and they helped some, so I figured I make my own thread and get answers/advice based on my case.

Being a 24/7/365 caregiver to a terminally ill patient I feel your confusion and fear.. I can't answer your questions but suggest you try some websites in medical states for information regarding your cancer.. Have an open mind and seek advise and may God bless your choices..

Cbd oil is what stops the cancer from growing, rso has been found more effective because of the thc content. The thc helps with pain and anxiety along side the cbd while the cbd stops the cancer.

I would start out with two grams of the cbd oil a day until you get the cancer free signal from the doctor and then take 1 gram a day to keep the cancer from coming back. Thc is not needed to kill the cancer cells but you could make some rso and mix it with the cbd to help if you want. If it is truely 100% bio available cbd oil then thats the stuff that will cure your cancer.

Hi, I'm a recent cancer survivor 38year old Burkit lymphoma. I used cannabis in conjunction with some powerful chemotherapy. So I know some of what your feeling. I included my doctors in my treatment plan of my using cannabis. It was welcomed by them, as they knew the benefits. I wish I could answer your questions, but I will offer a piece of advice. Never put all your eggs in one basket. Use cannabis with your chemotherapy, give yourself the best possible chance to beat this. And if you need to talk please reach out.

The bottle hubby bought is 10 ml, so 10 g. at 2g per day that's only 5 days worth. that's dishartening, as it was very expensive

The Cbd as far as I know is the cancer fighting agent I am a Colorado native and you can come and buy whatever your heart wants here just be prepared to pay tax on rec products is high. Also rent is high here that being said I know a handful of farmers that would help if you were here with either better /cheaper products or genetics or even knowledge

I can only go by what my doctors told me. The chemotherapy on a scale of 1 -10 for intensity I started at 9 and the plan to hit harder if I could take it. At the end of my treatment the doc said he has never hit someone that hard and still function. I also never took the first pain pill. I felt like shit but it amazed the doctors and the nurses.
I never got to do the RSO but I would have, I just smoked very heavily. So my answer would be no it does not reduce the benefits. I could not have gone without it. It helped save my life and I'll die believing that.

That's great news! thank you so much, it makes me feel better that we could travel and obtain enough material to start my treatment, as it's becoming obvious the best way to go about it is to grow it and make it myself, especially since there's the obvious need for taking the oil after cancer is gone, for preventive. thanks again for your reply.

Cancer grows only if it has an ideal environment, cbd engulfs the cell and gives the cell a ph/electrical charge that makes it impossible for the cancer to thrive in. Cbd doesnt really kill anything, it just re aligns your cells in the proper way to make it impossible for the cancer to thrive.
Chemo therapy is a poison that kills both good and cancerous cells, it was discovered when a war ship full of mustard gas exploded and killed everyone aboard. They found out that the thyroids of the sea men that enhaled themustard gas were shrunken. Millions of poisonings later we have chemotherapy, tadaa.

I believe that every person carries around cancerous cells, dormant, waiting for the right trigger(benzene, carbon dioxide etc) to start its cell mutation and cancerous cell growth. Cancer cells look like normal cells until they mutate.
They found out recently that caramel color that flavors dark sodas causes cancer. Its made by putting sulfuric acid on sugar and molasses and letting it ferment. They knew for decades that sulfuric acid was a cancer causing agent, but they said after the carmel color sat for so long the acid was no longer activ so its safe for human consumption. Just like chemotherapy is approved for use on humans, and alcohol is legal to drink.
Go with what you feel, dont let people talk you into or out of chemo, if you feel chemo is for you that's your personal choice.

the western drug lords will say it won't work but the eastern folks have been using it for 4000 years and
the Japanese health minister said it should be used in conjunction with chemo to rebuild your immune system...hard to know what to believe anymore but there is a ton of info out there with a simple google search
paul stamets is a world class mycologist that lives here in washington and he has a website and online store.....the reason i recommend him is because he knows his stuff and grows his own
check him out online or you tube

I've read about the dormant cancerous cells as well. I'm going to seek a second opinion, thus oncologist is hell bent on chemo first and ASAP it's making me uncomfortable. thanks for your information, very knowledgeable! I guess many of us turn experts after it becomes imperative to know these things to save our lives

My wife and I just got through radiation treatment. She didn't need chemo because of the risk factors that came together. the main thing to do is always stay positive no matter what stay positive. We brought the fact up to her surgeon about cannibus he gave us a choice. We chose surgery the factors were to great for failure without. Personal message me I have RSO I'll send you.

One word Maine.....some of the most compassionate caregivers in the country. Real estate is cheap and I'm guessing in a couple of days it'll be rec legal. I had stage three breast cancer and went through what your facing. Keep your head up sister. Pm me if you have any questions. I can help supply you with the strains you'll need if you want to go the path of growing your own. If not I can point you in the right direction for caregivers legal or not we can get you covered. <3
