Safe Ppm Levels In Creek Water?

Jut needing some pointers for safe ppm ranges for my outdoor tlo grow,have a creek to get h20 from,just need to know if the water is useable. Using tlo recipe mixed 50/50 with virgin soil. Waiting on new tds meter to test h20 now,water appears to clean,just need some guidelines from some veterans.

I use Creek water for my inside tlo grow. It tests at 42 ppm and I've never had an issue. With Creek water there is always a risk of pollution up stream and changes in ph from season to season. My rule of thumb is if it's under 50 ppm u should be good. You can always have the water tested to see what is in it. Some dissolved minerals are not a bad thing.....especially outdoors.

I think as long as you are below 150 ppm, you should be fine. If the flow is fairly swift; You might have some real nice water there. :)
