The samphone 760w this is a spitting image of the Medic grow smart 8...any thoughts?par footprint seems excellent..onboard timer ,and dimmer veg and bloom switch..lcd display..my only concern is the display..more bells and whistles mean easier breakdowns...thoughts?

2 things jump out at me about the light. This is based on what I see because I have zero experience with the light.

1) It's no longer available according to Amazon and they don't know when or if they will be back in stock. (My question is why? Especially if its a high quality light.)

2) That LED display on the control unit could possibly be a source of light pollution during the dark cycle. If it's always on you'd have to cover it. If it can be turned off, then disregard. Either way, its something I would look at prior to purchasing the light.

I agree it's a concern..why stop production or is it supply chain issues? The light is still available for medic grow...and compare the two ..its the same light

Supply chain issues are real and can be what's happened. I would try to verify that though with some research. Also copied design could mean someone reversed engineered the light. Compare components to see if the components match.
