The Ghesse ( G-13 x Cheese ) is from Barefrog, and the Asad also, thank you Barefrog, much appreciated. :)

Been busy outdoors and had tons of catching up on lost week or more due to rain and bad weather up this way, still not great. Anyhow, Managed to prepare gardens ( 2 of them ) and get plants into ground. That second garden was murder for this 61 year old woman, good thing I had a lot of help. Hired someone to dig holes with backhoe and had a ditch dug out as well in order to place pickets for fence posts.

Filled in holes ( 4' x 4' x 2' with about 5-7 feet distance between each ) with composted local soil enriched with a little bone and blood meal plus perlite. Will be using a variety of home-made organic teas. Today, we brought in 4 rain water reservoirs and this will be of great use during July and August.

Will post with updates as things evolve. Our primary garden is also up and running. :)

Hello everyone :), been a while but weather up this way has been yucky since beginning of June and I was only able to plant them all in this second garden area around second week of June, so they are a bit on the small side I think, but I'm crossing digits they will have a burst and get big.

Other strains not seen below but that are in that garden are; White Russian, Bubba Kush x White Russian, GHeese ( G-13 x Cheese by Barefrog ), Gods Candy, Bubba x Grape Kush, and Pineapple Chunk.

This is Asad, a landrace hash plant strain from a rural area by the same name, in the Kashmir region in Pakistan. From what I'm told, it can get very sticky going towards harvest time, and what really caught my eye, is that some of it's leaves have up to 12 fingers, and yes, this is a first for me seeing some many fingers on a cannabis leaf. :)

So, these are images from yesterday while I was out in the garden, hand watering the plants, looks like they are coming along fine and tomorrow, I will be receiving a water pump to use to pull water from a nearby river and fill up some water reservoirs. :)

Just caught your thread "Sassyfemme", great bunch of plants btw. Noticed back in your July 17th post one of the plants had red/purple stems, it was along side the lattice fencing, curious how long it stayed that color and what was the strain? Definitely watching from here on out, great job. Have only been in Quebec once in the mid seventies, skiing Mt. Saint Anne, the old part of the city was intriguing, and beautiful set against the newer portion of the city. The crazy thick siege walls, and those wonderful vistas overlooking the St. Lawrence seaway.

Hi Dan, :)

That would be the Gods Blue Cheese from Jordan of the Islands in B.C., it's a cross of Gods Bud x Blueberry x Cheese. The branches as well as the leaves in close by the buds are blue-purplish, and I expect the buds to turn towards the purple as they get to the finish line come end of September to first week of October. We are south of Mont Saint Anne, some two plus hours south, closer to Montreal though far away enough from the big city to be completely surrounded by nature. :)

Garden #1 update as harvest time gets closer up here. Plants are doing well and seem healthy and all are flowering. I've posted images of each one along with it's close up pic for buds and trichomes.

The first two are Afgooey with their respective bud pics, then comes the three Asad plants, three Deep Purples, two G-13 x Cheese. AM posting the rest of the images in a second post due to upload constraints. :)

One Gods Blue Cheese, two Kryptonite and Durban Poison, two Lowryders, and one Pineapple Chunk.

Looks like I'll be harvesting the Lowryders real soon with maybe the Deep Purple to follow though will have to wait and see.

Beautiful, some of those have monster colas. Still seem to need more time though, would expect more filaments to become colored and loose that plump moist look.
PS, that shot of the Gods blue cheese bud is hinting at what that will eventually look like.

Hi Dan, :)

Yes, they still all need some more time, some up to a month yet. The Gods Blue Cheese is from Jordan of The Islands Co. and I'm really looking forward to tasting it, should be done by first week of October, maybe a little sooner. :)
