Depends on what you like... more clear up energetic high or more in the body and relax high

I like both but I tend to medicate with Indica plus I like to make hash and the Indica is known for its abundance of trichomes.

Why not do both?

What do you prefer to smoke? Are the growing conditions more like equatorial tropical conditions (preferred by Sativas), or are they drier, perhaps more like mountainous regions (think Afghani Indicas and the like).

Are you more interested in growing habits, or the high itself? Each has its good and bad points.

I personally prefer Sativas, I don't want to be locked to the couch stoned to the bone because I have shit to get done. However, they take a longer time to flower and finish, can get HUGE, and if you harvest too early you've got yourself a budful of paranoia and bad head trips, you've got to let Sativas finish. They can be less prone to powdery mildew (if you're in humid conditions this is a consideration), and tend to produce smaller buds.

Indicas tend to be more squat, have the thicker, heavier buds, finish much more quickly, can be prone to powdery mildew (this IS rather strain dependent, of course), and if good are guaranteed to lock your ass to the couch and good luck getting anything done.

Both! Then you can smoke each one and decide which medicine bets suits you. Just be sure to save seeds or take clones!
