Massive root balls on em!!
I use straight perlite.
Never heard of straight vermiculite used though.
What's that like to grow in?
I'd imagine it would hold lots of nutes so you could feed lighter?

Straight perlite is good for cloning but not sure about root zone density, depends on perlite size I suppose.
I think the vermiculite may be able to produce a more/higher density root zone than coco, cause of the fine grains, acts as a "better" sponge later on with a root ball than coco, gotta test it more but yeah
I do Dtw/high-freq-fert mainly, play around with hydro/dwc-rockwool/aero
