Sea Green In Reservoir = Ph ^

So I noticed when I add sea green (regular, not hydro) to my reservoir, I have noticed that it raises my pH quite a bit (from 5.7 to 6.5 next day), and causes a bit of sludge. This is using it at 1ml per gallon. I am currently using Mills Nutrients at around 1.2 EC. If I do not add the Sea Green, I do not get sludge or pH raise. Has anybody else had this issue? I have my aerator on in my res for 15 minutes, 10 times a day, fyi.
