Here I go with my second grow! Decided on growing Blackberry Moonrocks this time and started 4 seeds in water on August 28. All 4 seeds cracked open in less than 24 hours and were placed into one inch rockwool cubes. I placed the rockwool cubes in a dish and covered each with a plastic cup.

Tuesday, September 2nd, all 4 pushed up through the rockwool. I removed the lids and moved the seedlings to the grow tent.

Thursday, September 4th, placed each seedling on top of clay pebbles, started up the DWC system, had to add pH down.

Tonight I noticed that roots were starting to poke through the rockwool, so I put my girls into the clay pebbles. They are looking leggy so I moved the light closer to about 1 foot above and changed light intensity to 40%.

My equipment list:

AC Infinity CLOUDLAB 844 – Advance Grow Tent 48”x48”x80”
CONTROLLER 69 PRO+ Grow Tent Controller
IONFRAME EVO6 – 500W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light
CLOUDLINE PRO – Inline Fan 6"
Carbon Filter 6”
CLOUDRAY S6 – Oscillating Circulation Clip Fan (x2)
CLOUDFORGE T7 - Humidifier
SPIDER FARMER 32 pint Dehumidifier
SPIDER FARMER DWC Grow System- 7 gallon buckets, 6” net cups, 15W air pump, air stones, drip irrigation rings
Clay pebbles
Rock wool cubes - 1”

Awesome, someone else is growing this strain from Alphafem! Can't wait to compare the soil to hydro. How cool. So far, she has been a responsive plant and has handled everything I've thrown at her. I'll be following this diary closely for comparisons.

September 13

Seedlings are a week and an half old and looking good. Two out of four have roots growing through the net cups and dipping into the water.

Added 1 fresh gallon of water with a 1/4 tsp of each of the Flora Series nutrients to each 7 gallon bucket. Will check pH later and adjust accordingly. Humidity was low at 51% (no water in humidifier) had to add more distilled water.

Week 3

Lots of new growth in the past week!
Added more water to each reservoir with increased nutrients to 1tsp per gallon. Increased the light intensity to a “6”. Planning on topping soon.

One plant is much smaller than the others and I think it’s because it took a little longer for the roots to reach the water in the bucket.

Week 5

Topped in week 4 and plants started getting bushy AF. Defoliated last night. Leaves were looking a little yellow 2 days ago, but are looking better. Raised the light 3 inches. Filled the reservoirs with more nutrients, 2 tsp of each micro, grow, and boom.

Week 6

Plants have been looking good and drinking up their water and nutrients fast. I was sick last weekend and didn’t check on them for 2 days and water levels were super low. They have a crazy amount of roots already.

Defoliated again last Monday and flipped the lights on Tuesday. Raised the lights and plan on slowly increasing the intensity and see how they respond.

Flowering Day 5

Starting to smell nice as soon as I start to unzip the door on the grow tent. Plants have grown about 4-6 inches in height and are really filling up space. Added 1 gallon (plant in front left side needed 2) of water and nutrients to each reservoir 2 days ago.

Flowering Day 17

Plants are looking healthy for the most part, stretching, and forming buds. Had to raise the light again by about a foot, Majorly defoliated yesterday and replenished all 4 reservoirs with a change in nutrients to 1 tsp micro, 2 tsp grow, 3 tsp bloom per gallon.

Do you ever have to clean out the reservoirs during a grow?

Flowering Day 24

Plants grew at least 6-8 inches since last week, buds are growing, and trichomes are becoming noticeable. Raised the light as high as it can go in the tent. Happy with how they are growing

Looking good.
I have an envelope of Kushberry moonrocks for my winter photo run.
Apparently 10-20% of this seed run give pink pistles.

Harvested 5 days ago at 8 1/2 weeks. It’s still drying, but think I’m going to sample some tonight
