Day 21. Things are starting to get a bit more exciting in the tent. Last Friday I did a pretty decent defoliation because I couldn’t get the RH below 70%, it’s sitting stable around 50% now at 27C. The stretch is definitely done, going to do some reading up on how I could have gotten tighter spacing on the nodes for next time.View attachment 1220033
Im back, I just noticed you got a new fan and hope it helps control RH, don’t expect much. Unless you live somehwere with the perfect climate (I live in San Diego so…) an exhaust fan won’t move the needle enough. I had to get a dehumidifier, problem with those is, they can raise the temp in the room. Ideally I wish I had an AC instead, they will pull moisture like a dehumidifier does (not as well) and keep temps down for tighter buds. Your shit looks good though, nice work. I’m still curing mine, going on two week cure, it’s good, but I’m still on the strain hunt.

Yea your right, it wasn’t a magic fix all to my humidity. Fortunately my home sits around 40% RH all winter, and as we go into summer it skyrockets into the 80s and 90s without ac. So as long as I keep the door ajar I can keep the tent in the 50-60% rh zone.
im thinking the new fan will mostly help me cure my bud better when hung in the tent. So far the humidity probe has been pretty accurate. My first harvest never lost its hay smell, hopefully I get it right this time.
Harvest Day! lessons for next grow for me were don’t turn the light to 100%, and use rock dust if you plan to use RO water. I already picked up some rock dust to mix into the soil for the next run. Going to run Orange Kush Cake by Ethos next run, and a few plants out on the balcony starting next month with my veggies.
thank you to everyone who stopped in and gave some helpful advice.
Not the best bud in the world, but genuinely much better than what I was buying at the dispensary. Harvest roughly 6.8oz of bud into the jars and what ended up being 6 cups of trim that I made coconut oil with.
Last post here, so thanks again to everyone who pointed me in the right direction. Will be making a journal of my summer grow with my veggies if anyone is interested.
