Second grow - trying hydro in coco.

I've dropped the number of feedings too. I'll check tomorrow's runoff to see if the flush helped.

I am using the athena line. I've started using less of that now too. It lists 1500 or 2100ppm. Measuring as listed on the feed schedule, I get the 2100 number. I've reduced that to about 1600/1700.
The FF sledgehammer is on their feed schedule to flush every 3 or 4 weeks.
I am not familiar with Athena and measuring EC.
But what I know is that a lot of those flushing agents aren't benefitial for your buds so better don't use it anymore.
And try to go way lower on your feeds than 1600/1700 to avoid an overfeed, or give your plants much more run off, like 30%, to flush salt build ups out and keep your ec runoff lower.

I've been feeding her a light mix and will harvest in a few more days.
I'll shoot for about 1000ppm next flower and run a flush when I move it to the room. I can modify it from there as I watch the run off. Hopefully this harvest is still good. I'm betting it's ok.

Sounds like a good plan.
I had excessive visible salt build ups on my coco so the last three waterings was just tap water with a lot run off and they're drying back since then...to make more stress and get more resin production, it also helps with the drying time and Chlorophyll degration.
Yesterday was a raw wet trim after the darkness phase and enlonged it to 24h. In the evening I will chop em down.

I did use a bowl trimmer for a little bit of my harvest. I'd say it worked alright for smaller buds. Under 2 inches seemed to work. The bigger buds had a lot of embedded leaves. They'll still need a bit of a manicure.

I've smoked some of the new harvest. It's got my signature very light and smooth taste. I think the stone seems really nice - and it was pretty decent last time. The dry is going nicely. It's all in my tent running about 65%RH at about 65F. The few I've smoked are already tasting almost as good as my last harvest.

Manicured some last night. The smell is amazing! RH settled in at 65. A little curing and that should settle in to a nice number.

Day 4 of trim. Keeping the drying tent at about 65RH with the temp ranging from 65 to 70. The buds are feeling pretty nice. The jarred RH is sitting at 63 to 65. I'm really happy with the drying process right now. Now if only the trim didn't take 4 days...

I use athena pro ive found not to use their recommendation of 3.0 ec i will probably top out around 2.5 in flower if massive buds/growth, its fairly easy for me to tell if they want more or less mine are drinking equal water to nutes at 1.4 ec right now in mid/late veg

I'm running about half strength now as well. I'll keep an eye on the waste and work from there.

I'm finally out of trim jail. That's 7 quarts and 2 two quart jars. Around 12 ounces anyways.
