I have quite a few plants displaying this on its leaves. I’ve researched quite a few pictures and diagrams of deficiency’s but hoping for a pros eyes on it. I’m about to transplant into 30 gallon pots with fresh Gaia’s gift soil, so I’m iffy on trying to directly correct correct it until they get comfy in the new pots and soil but would like to know the cause.
Soil- ffof
6.5 ph water
Supplemented with some silica with a few waterings

Looks like a magnesium deficiency to me but the question is why? If you're about to up pot them into bigger pots with fresh soil I would do it now;

you might want to give them an Epsom salt spray, mix one level tbsp per gallon, spray two days in a row does it for me good luck

Edit: bottom picture could be the picture or a sulfur deficiency, fresh soil should take care of it

Are you adjusting pH?

I am adjusting ph, and my run off has been coming out right around 6.5. I’m gonna give them a little cal mag with the next watering and see if it helps. Thank you for your input thus far

If you have a lot of nutes, particularly Phosphorus, it can bind with the Magnesium and make it unavailable to the plant, causing a deficiency despite haveing plenty of it in the soil. I agree with a light epsom salt treatment, maybe as a foliar spray (research it 1st... use a dilute spray!).

I actually fed no nutes. When I got the clones I put them in 1 gallon pots with ocean forest soil, and that fed them for a few weeks and I then uppotted to 3 gallons in fresh ocean forest. I only once fed them earth juice seablast grow, and burned some of them so I learned that the soil had plenty of nutes. Last time I tested runoff it was at 4.55 ppm. The new soil I got is fully amended so I don’t anticipate feeding for a few weeks again. Is there a particular type of epsom salt? Or just your standard store bought (minus fancy lavender scents )
