Secret Jardin 2.5 WARNING !!

Hi. I bought a Secret Jardin DR90 2.5 revision yesterday. I was expecting plastic corners but i opened it up to find the end pieces of the roof bars now use plastic connectors instead of the old single piece metal bars on the 2.0 version.
I'm very disappointed with this, i still can't believe these came on a £110 tent.

I'm warning people so they know to avoid if they don't want thin plastic joints holding their lights up.

Ive got a fresh 6x24 filter and my 1000 watt light and hood hanging in my 2.5 and according to Jardin I could hang twice that much.Mine is fine and carries the weight just fine....

Yeah for now, it's deterioration i'm worried about. The forums are filled with disaster stories from plastic bits.
These don't fill me with confidence.

I did see a thread the other day where one of those 100 buck tents had the ceiling fall down and would have burned his house down but when it fell it unplugged the light

why not run to the hardware and grab some metal wire or something? I know i prefer to just build my tents if i need them. Use B&W poly and kilzed 2x4's. I'm frugal though, spend my money on food TBH

Yeah i'm gonna run string across the top to make a safety net so if it falls there's something to catch it. I used to have a homemade cab but i took it down when i had a break. I'll be moving house soon so i needed something that i can pop up and take down quickly, shift it from A to B.
I'll keep an eye out for replacement polls. He's says they're an improvement but he left them out of the list of improvements for 2.5 on his site. It's a big change to keep quiet i think. I'm suspicious.
