looks like maybe a lil over feeding? i'm feeding them h&g coco at 1.5 ec and drip clean every feeding.

what week of flower is it? 4? Are the lights on or off? Are you giving any N or Mag? Looks like you are lacking some N or Mag. Looks like the RH might be high. Hard to tell by these pictures. Is there a fan on in the pic? Sorry just hard to tell by the pix. If you just watered or the lights have been off for a bit the leaves tend to droop some, also right after a good watering or flush. There is a slight N claw/over fert but overall stacking looks good and they don't seem to be struggling.

Cheers,
Crom

they are at day 15 of flower. lights went off a couple minutes before i took the pics. last watered about 4 days ago. every 4 or 5 days they get watered/fed. h&g, and tap, so i haven't added any mag. RH is at around 50-60.. fan was on.

i thought it was a little too much n, because the tips look they are yellowing inwards. but...

i never get that happy leaf look where the fans are pointing up towards the lights....

here's a photo of the room a few minutes before the lights were turned off........

maybe i don't get the real upwards look from the fans, because i don't let the medium dry out more than 60%?

Possibly if you aren't letting your medium dry. You could cause other issues I would think, like root rot by drowning your roots. They do need O2. I say that the RH is high or you should let them dry out a bit more because the leaf edges are raised on some leaves, this means that the plant is trying to "perspire" and it can't do it either enough or fast enough. There is an awesome thread that I'll have to dig up about RH and how it works from a detailed perspective.

I would think that you should add a small amount of N and see if your leaves get some color back. Though you should not use large amounts of N in bloom you still need a small amount for healthy growth. Though the plants look healthy except for the yellowing. Snap a pic of a leaf that you feel is displaying the "issue" that might help us. Are you using CO2?

Learn about vapor pressure deficit, that's when you'll really see tumescent leaves, when it's all to their liking.

http://www.autogrow.com/1_information/1_vpd/info_vpd.html

Calculator. http://www.autogrow.com/vpd_calc.php

Using this information I learned that, indoors, when temps are around 75F and RH is around 70%, all girls go nucking futz. These numbers don't have to be tight, they range.

Soo.... see all the reddened petioles? Resolve that phosphorous problem and the rest very well may just fall into place. It's not bad, but it's burgeoning.

Great info Seamaiden! This is similar to what I was refering to. There is a good read on the Farm about VPD that I can't find. Either way what VPD is ideal for cannabis SM? Thanks.

Cheers,
Crom

I do not understand what the numbers represent, I can only tell you at what temperature and relative humidity combination they seem happiest. So I know I can let temps range from 70F-89F (yes, you read that right) and RH needs to stay between 60%-80% (you read that right, too) with them being happiest when it's 75F-82F or thereabouts along with the RH @75%-80%.

I see. Are you running CO2 at those temps as well?

No, it's not something I've wanted to mess with. The requirements for sealing and dosing, added cost, etcetera, just aren't worth it. In this area my HUGE battle is keeping it warm enough and balancing doing things right with doing them affordably (I'm in PG&E territory and been being horsefucked by them since we moved to this house). In fact, indoors as of yesterday is now completely shut down.

I was pretty surprised first when I could get the room up into the 80s, but even more so when I saw how flippin' happy the girls were when it seemed that those temps would be too warm, especially when I let the RH climb. Then again, my glasses were usually so steamed up for the first 5mins I couldn't see so had to take them off, which means I'm not looking with my best eyes. That's what happens when you go into a nice, warm, HUMID flowering room from a 40F basement.

ok.. i can run my humidifier.

can you elaborate on the phosphorous problem?

i'm running h&g at 1.5 ec. i also added half strength of big bud to the rez for the next feeding. are you thinking too much phosphorous or not enough?

Not enough, especially in relation to K, which, being in coco you need to be careful not to overdose (the K, not the P). I only have the powdered Big Bud and can't remember how it compares to liquid, but IIRC it's got aminos the liquid doesn't have and I think its P/K numbers are different.

Got anything on hand that will give them a small boost of P without mucking up the balance of other nutrients? Because, honestly, I see little more than the reddened petioles and slight yellowing on leaf margins on lower leaves in the pictures you posted. If it were a bad P problem then you'd have leaves dying back.
