I had some old seeds that would not pop from 2012, I did scarification (roll up sandpaper put seeds inside and shake vigorously, then I rub the husk in some sandpaper as well as along the ridges on the seed, then used 1TBS 3% peroxide with 20tbs water in a mini solo cup, put in top of my heater duct and had cracked both seeds in 24 hours

I'm interested in seed germination using hydrogen peroxide and would appreciate some advice about how to do it. (The plants will be grown in soil.)

Is a 2:1 solution of water to 3% H2O2 best?

Is distilled water necessary? In the past we've used water that has been boiled.

I have seen many and often conflicting recommendations. Some use a more diluted solution. Some soak the seeds in water + H2O2 for times ranging from a half hour to a whole day before placing them in the folded paper towel. Some don't use paper towels and plant the soaked seeds directly in soil. Some suggest putting the paper towels in a sealed plastic bag. One person on YouTube said to tape the plastic bag to a sunny window. Others say to put the paper towel and seeds in a warm and dark place. Some don't put the paper towels in a plastic bag.

5ml / 1g distilled or Reverse osmosis water is a good ratio.
I spray paper towel just damp, add seeds, spray once fold towel and place in baggie, spray 3 times seal and incubate in dark @ 84°f. Sprouts taproot under 26 hrs 95% time under 34hrs 100% time.
H202 provides incredible Oxegen
I use 25ml / 5g with all my nute feeding scedual in my coco medium. Kills disinfects prevents bugs increases oxegen for roots.

I have had 100% success rate at wetting a paper towel and placing seeds in middle of towel and fold over seeds... set in plastic baggie in a drawer... make sure bag stands up as gravity will pull the root downwards.... I have been able to pop seeds within a 12 to 24 hour time period everytime...

I've noticed Nirvana seeds have very great/strong genetics

If u sir have had absolutely 100% germ rate we want in bc u would be a rich man with these seeds that never fail unless u have only popped one or two seeds in ur life just saying I want some of these 100% guarantee seeds good sir

all breeder seeds should germinate easily
i’m pretty sure i’ve had one out of hundreds that didn’t germinate, landraces though are a different story, those are usually much harder to germinate,

I've had a time with seeds lately not germing n I'm doing everything nice n proper like maybe I am cursed lol honestly was just one strain I had issues with but I'm still yet to see 100% germ rate that's insane I think the alien riders were 18/20
