So you had a plant hermie and you want to run the beans? It is kind of a shoot in the dark, meaning you might get another plant that will have hermie qualities and you may not. Depending on your personal goals it might be worth running the beans or it may not. I would never take a chance on intentionally running beans from a parent with hermie traits. It does not make good sense to me.unfortunately one of three flowering plants went Hermie on me and pollinated the other two. The weed is still potent but obviously full of seeds. Are these seeds worth keeping or are they likely to be non-feminized and potential grow either a male plant or another Hermie?

Run some and see. I’ve run many from seeds I’ve found in buds and never had a problem. But keep them to yourself until you know they’re not duds or hermie prone.unfortunately one of three flowering plants went Hermie on me and pollinated the other two. So I am curious about your comment here because I do not fully understand your idea.Run some and see. I’ve run many from seeds I’ve found in buds and never had a problem. But keep them to yourself until you know they’re not duds or hermie prone.
I lost count about 1970. That’s the year 1970. How about you? Is English your primary language? So I am curious about your comment here because I do not fully understand your idea.
First of all, how many grows have you completed?
Take some seeds grow them out, watch them hermie and watch your flower come in with seeds. Does that sound great to you, not so much to me. I guess I better say, been growing for 60 plus years.Take some of the seeds
Plant them
Grow them out all the way through flower.
How’s that?
That's a long time. What kind of light did you use?I lost count about 1970. That’s the year 1970. How about you? Is English your primary language?
We kind of borrowed Street Lights from a city in the LB areaThat's a long time. What kind of light did you use?
What strains did you have in 1970? I never even smoked til 74.I lost count about 1970. That’s the year 1970. How about you? Is English your primary language?
I would take the chance if it were from the best bud ever type bud. Why did it herm is what I would want to know?So you had a plant hermie and you want to run the beans? Thanks for the input folks. I’ve since checked many other weed sites and the general consensus is that seeds from a pollinated female plant that was pollinated by a female plant that went Hermie, is that the risk is too great. Regardless of how many seeds from this harvest are germinated, the odds are that the resultant seedlings will be hermaphroditic . I’m tossing all of them (well over a hundred).
Get rid of them.
Seeds are cheap, don't waste your time growing more bud that will get seeded. They will be fem, as there is no Y chromosome involved. Both parents were ladies. They will have a high chance of herming and seeding itself or other crops. Not worth the time, we want to remove those from the gene pool.
Wait for a rainy day and thow them into flower beds downtown. It sucks for sure, but its for the best.
