Hello I have these 5 Star Gazer autos from crop king seeds. First time growing autoflowers day 7 as of today. Noticing some yellowing on my leaves and also feel like they should have more growth after 7 days. Any suggestions or input wanted

Start seeds in small containers and you avoid watering problems. The mix you described should hold way more than 1/2g in 5gal pots.

Thank you man I normally start in 1 gallon pots but I was told autos don’t like to be transplanted so chose to go to final container. Here is a video of the grow media think it’s holding too much?

Did you see the video of the media? Opinion on the water content
My auto recovered that was stunted do to no tent in cold weather she is picking up now give your auto a week or 2 mine looked like yours at first. Oh btw if the tips of leaves are yellow or anything I usually trim them and take the discolored part off to help the plant put energy into growing elsewhere.also for watering I usually just use a spray bottle for seedling early veg to keep from overwatering

Just an FYI. Vermiculite retains moisture. Much more than perlite. Vermiculite is kind of like a sponge.

I think they are in to big of pots and it makes it hard to water properly. They need to be watered thoroughly and dried until they lose at least 10-12 lbs. Takes too long for it to dry with only a seedling in 5 gal.
Thanks for all the advice, I’m going to let them run there cycle then then go back to Photo period plnts
