Hi,

I'm having some trouble with my seedling, I brought up the RH to about 55 to 60% in the small space that's vented. I have my T5 super sprouter light about 7 in from the canopy, I'm noticing twisting and bending in the first set of serrated leaves. I'm feeding half strength gen hydro micro and bloom 6|9 formula and curious how I can stop the twisting? Seedling tolerated feed well 1st two feedings but now is leggy and twisting.
-is the light too low?
-is it not humid enough?
-overfed the culprit? (Will wait till dryback)
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

Just a normal wonky young plant. They do this. They grow out of it. It's a Ca thing. Growing faster than it can lay the bricks down straight sometimes.

Keep doing what you're doing unless you're feeding synthetic nutes in coco coir. If you are, stop letting the coco dry back. That will make it worse.

Thanks boss, yeah I figured and will do. Gen hydro is synthetic, I was planning on a feed today but was hesistant due to the less dryback last day or two and its wonkiness. It still felt a little heavy. Roots are starting to hit the side as well.

Their goin in the tent in the next couple days.

Looks like a normal seedling with normal first node warble but I'm a little concerned with your choice of initial nutrients. You are feeding with Flora Micro and bloom 6/9, did I read that right? That really sounds more like a flip feeding.

Is this a Lucas method variant?

Wasn't familiar so thanks for bringing it up. Been meaning to try a fixed ratio out at some point.

Yes, I've had alot of success with it in the past...understandably outdated I know but it seems to work well for me. I also use a silica and pk boost in flower. This is a banana grape soda by mosca, I plan on transplanting with myco in the next couple days and gettin this and a new sprout in my gorilla tent under my Cypress 3 Timbergrow light.

I appreciate the comments. Thank you

What's up y'all, so this seedling is at Day 12 and its still twisting quite a bit. My light is about 7 in away and my humidity hovers between 55 and 65.

Its growing well but I still kind of concerned about the twisting and wobbly leaves and wondering if that's still normal given my other factors are fairly controlled.

I will be transplanting in the next couple days to a 5 gal smartpot using myco and moving things to my tent. Also wondering if I can go full strength 6 | 9 micro and bloom at this point (been a while since I've pumped dank ).

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't grow in coco so can't answer the nutrient question but don't worry about the wonkiness of the leaves. As others have said that's normal for some seedlings, they grow out of it.

It looks perfectly normal.

The thing about humidity is, when we're talking about growing it's very important to include temperature for context. If your temp is 78-80Β° 55-65% is too low for the young ones. They don't have a big enough root system to keep up with the demand from the atmosphere. Do you track vpd? What's the temp like?

Yessir I do. Its about 74 to 75 degrees in the vented space. Not sure if your a coco guy but I was told by a close friend that I could feed half 6 | 9 micro and bloom for a week then switch to full 6 | 9. I assume if I transplant tomorrow I want some dry back first, then I will feed a day or two after transplant (probably half strength still)

Hi,

This plant dwarfed because I moved it from a solo to a 5 gal and it did not like it. It was an auto and starting blooming, I've learned my lesson: small margin of error for autos.

Does anyone have experience with using Micro and Bloom for seedlings? I just started another seedling, this time a regular. Its Day 6 and I am feeding half 6 | 9 formula, it's growing quickly putting out its 2nd node and praying well but looks way light green on the 1st serrated leaves. Temps are 73Β° and RH hovers around 70 to 75. Any input is greatly appreciated.
