So 2 of 3 of my seeds popped. Planted them in slightly pre moistened Happy Frog. One of my tap roots had grown in a loop and the other was straight. The curly cue toot found the surface. I just covered it with about a half to and inch of soil sprinkled on top and gently watered with 15ml of water. The other came through with helmet head. I domed them both. After how long should I try to remove the shell? And will curly cue be ok. I have the mars hydro tsl 2000 in a 2x4 at 24" and Bout 25% 75°f and 75%RH. Thanks for any input

Oh I've heard to leave them on for the first few days to a week, venting and adjusting them to the tents atmosphere over a few days. Why would it hurt? I'm not asking to be a smart a** or I think you're wrong. I'm curious and try to intake any input. I appreciate it a bunch

You may have to remove the gel like stuff also if the cotelydons are glued together!

The dome is not necessary. It holds in moisture while the seeds are germinating, but once your seeds have sprouted it can actually keep things too humid and not provide enough airflow, putting you at risk of things like damping off or mold

Looking good so far ,give the helmet head 24–48 hours before gently helping, the curly taproot should be fine if it's upright, and your light and environment are right on point.

It came off! Me and my buddy each have a 2x4 running the same lights genetics and fans. He's doing a coco perlite organic grow. I'm doing a FF soil and half and half nutes. We both did 3 seeds hoping to get 2 plants a piece. He has 2 sprouts to my 1. So we out the 3 that have sprouted in his tent on a 18 and 6 light cycle. We out the seed that hasn't pooped and the 2 that haven't broke soil in mine 24 hours lights. They are sharing a lung room and are staying almost the same environment. Thanks for the input. I'll try to post pics tonight. They are on the off time rn. Happy Growing
