Yes there are drainage holes. I water every 2-3 days. I’ve been using a mix of miracle grow and coco perlite. 16hr on 6hr off. I have other plants that are doing just fine that were planted at the same time using the same lighting and soil and watering scheduleDo you have lots of drainage holes in the bottom of that pot? How often and how much have you been watering? What is the soil/media? What are you doing for light?
Okay thanks !Something is very wrong with that seedling. No roots and so small is bad juju. I'd start over. Try just dropping drops of water on the helmet head next time. Let it shed itself.
If you have other plants thriving with the same treatment, it sounds like this one is a weakling. I'd toss it.Yes there are drainage holes. I water every 2-3 days. Thanks !I think it got dampened off.
Def would bounce it.
Might as well carry on I'm curious at this pointHey yall ! I was scared to throw my plant away lol so here’s an updated pic 5 days later and I finally have some roots. I’m rooting for it lol so we’ll see how far we get with this one
Yes there are 2 growth sites. The first 2 sets of leaves died and that’s what came back . I think it self topped too because after the first 2 leaves died there was only cotyledons and the pics are what came afterDoes that plant have one or two growth points? Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like it "self topped", which could explain the slow start. I don't toss seedlings unless they're dead, because I've had too many that eventually developed into stellar, large, healthy plants.
Thanks for that info ! I did purchase this pot for it to go in when it’s time to be replanted so I think I’ll just go ahead and do that today .Good it’s gathering some roots!
But clear pot is a huge no no .
The more roots that show against the edge of the clear plastic the more risk you run of the light exposure causing root hardening, which will also slow growth. If you get it non clear cup, repot into fresh soil, it will roll.
How big is that pot? Is that going to be the final pot it goes in?Thanks for that info ! I did purchase this pot for it to go in when it’s time to be replanted so I think I’ll just go ahead and do that today .
The pot is 6in (1qt). The bottom saucer clips on and off the pot ( shown in pic) This is not the final pot. I do want to get this one out of the plastic but I know it needs more time to grow roots. I have a plant in the veg stage, a clone that’s in re-veg and this one we’re speaking of. I really wanted to leave them in these pots until they fill up and then transfer to forever home. I have pictures of how those plants are doing tooHow big is that pot? Is that going to be the final pot it goes in?
I would definitely transplant it, you will be amazed what a transplant into some fresh soil will do for a plant!
I would put a plant saucer under that pot, doesn't look like the bottom of the pot has enough capacity to catch all the runoff.

Because of your situation with the stunted seedling, I would do a mid pot like the one you have and then once it takes off and is healthy then transplant into final pot.The pot is 6in (1qt).
