Hi everyone, I need some help. For the last 6 seeds that I germinated and stared in a solo cup. But they all stop growing after the first leaves. About 3 inch. I've tried different soil. And different watering habits. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Please help. Im just wasting good seeds.

The light is about 18 inches away, led. The tent is temp and humidity controlled. Right now, it's 80° ,35% humidity.

Your humidity is way too low for seedlings. Try and get that up to 60-70% constant.

Seedlings do not need much light, raise your light to 24-28 inches and lower intensity to to 30%.

Water only when soil is dry and most soils come with enough nutrients to get you through your next transplant.

I'm not able to lower the intensity of light. I'll move light up. And I'll put the humidifier in.

Crap. Ok, I'll germ another one. When I put it in a solo cup, how much water. I think I've been overdoing it.

a solo cup, i’d guess around 300 ml.. than wait till it’s dry or cup is light in weight.. after 30 mins from when you watered pick up the cup to feel the weight, when it’s time to water it’ll be as light as a piece of styrofoam

Would to much water cause the seedling to just stop growing?

Just use a spray bottle like 10-15 sprays a day I’d say

Do you have ample drainage holes cut in the bottom of your solo cup? It's looking water-logged.

I do have holes in bottom. But I agree, I think it's a water issue. Thx

I've used the light before. I tried abiggerlight, but it was overheating the tent.

I'm wondering about your media, too. Coco and perlite? Did you buffer the coco? Wash out the dust and smalls? People say you can't overwater coco, but if you leave the little stuff in, it can get pretty soggy. If you don't buffer, coco will steal magnesium from you.
