Hi have this happen to me before strange. I buy feminized seeds. I vegged these two out side 4-5 weeks, then moved them into 2gal pots soil. I have a 24x 20 cabinet, two plywood doors with door length hinges. I blow into cab on the back bottom with a 4” fan, pull out of cab with a 4” fan on top, with an oscillating fan inside. 2000 watt led light. I bloom inside as it is in back corner of my garage and seals up nice. I do have a heat problem it gets hot 80-100. The last girls I harvested had seeds. It was victim of 100 degree days. Did the heat cause seeds? And if it seeded are all those seeds female. Help

The seeds will still all be female if she just germinated herself. The heat is probably what did it. That's a lot of light for an enclosed space.

Yea I know I guess. I bought a canatrol for the drying and curing but the heat gets me. I have before put a 5000 stand up air conditioner blowing at my intake. I can keep the heat down (especially in summer) just have to vent air out window. My 12 light on is 6am to 6pm during heat of day. The 12 dark is a lot darker 6pm to 6am.

Oh I feel ya bro, winter is the only time I can control the heat in my house. The AC just doesn't do what I need it to do in my grow room in the summers here in Illinois. It's just a hot and humid hell, and I'm always fighting temps. I've had so many problems stopping my PC over heating, I had to use some MacGyver tactics of my own lol.

Looking at your setup, and with it being in the garage n all. I would add a 10 - 15 foot length of duct tubing to your "intake" fan. Making it pull the air through a lot of coiled aluminum tubing, it will drop the temp of the air down about 2 or 3 degrees on the front end, shaving off valuable degrees of heat on the back end to keep you nearer 80 degrees, than it climbing to 90 degrees, which can be a plant killer.

How are your insides of your grow box finished? Do you have foil on the sides, or bright white paint? If the air inside is touching painted wood, it will insulate the heat and build, if the air hits the foil inside, it will reflect and dissapate the heat a little, not by much, but every little bit helps. You could also paint some kind of light reflecting (white) sealer on the cabinet outsides, to stop it absorbing even more heat. Make it look like a fridge. Touch a white car in the summer compared to a black one, it's several of degrees of difference.

I have a 3x3 tent, but I have my own grow box too. When you can smoke some bud from a MacGyver setup, that's called 'surviving in the wild' as far as I'm concerned lol.

Also if your light is generating the heat, having a fan blowing directly on the light itself can keep it from building. Sorry if you've tried all this before, just covering the basics.

I grow on the East coast, Mid Atlantic . Summer temps are a challenge for me.

I needed to add a small window AC unit in the room I grow in. Keeping temps below 82 F is my goal. If not, flavor burns off. Possible herm .

Good Luck

What @GNick55 said is 100% true, and funny in an almost mean way, but the man calls it like he sees it and we need more of that around here sometimes. Wait until @Galgrows stops by! 99% of the criticism on here comes from a place of love

There's a way to grow at high temperatures in a small space. I'm currently working out solutions to this growing in a 4 x 2 tent outside in a uninsulated shed using a simple CO2 supplement. I'm gonna send you a PM.

If you can afford curing stuff buy a tent and a controller like an ac Infinity controller 67 or 69. It will make life way easier. Buying a Cannotrol or however you spell it is a complete waste of money at your state of growing. Stick around, learn, check other people's grow diaries and get in discussions and stay on the farm, you will learn a ton

Stress seeds from heat 50/40 chance female or hermie. Personally, I only popped females this type seed in past. You need to get your climate and environment under control. I grow in a 4x8 with 3 lights totaling 1800 watts and still need to control climate.

I love my under the basement stairway drying area ... temperature and humidity remain in the sweet spot year round. All it needed was a desktop style oscillating fan, which I already have several of. Total cost of $0. Flower stays perfect in Grove bags for up to 2 years.

It's a matter of perception whether or not the cannatrol unit is worth its cost. I've looked at them. Nice idea but at that price? Nah!!! I am sure I get the same results even if mine might take a week or so longer to completely cure. The wait is never an issue because buds are always a plenty in my house.

hashish made with buds dried/cured with a cannatrol is inferior when compared to air drying, this was done with the half the plant dried both ways than hashish was made,..
cannatrol is being sold by fear tactics,..
it’s a complete scam,..

Hermies happen. I've had one auto hermie on me. Seeds were all female and grew just fine. Could be some stress like heat or too dry.
