Deficiency? Septoria? First time grower here, I started to notice these spots as in today. The bottom half of the plant has normal healthy leaves with some Nut burns from previous issues. Only the top half has leaves like this along with some Nut burns tips… my plant seemed all well until I started to increase the light % and put a big dehumidifier to keep the rH 35%-45% it fluctuates, I try to keep it 35-40% but it’s hard! The humidity very rarely goes above that. I have good air flow as well i can’t figure it out.

Either calcium, magnessium or potassium deficiency.

my plant seemed all well until I started to increase the light %
When you increase one parameter you should increase the rest. More light means they can process more nutrients (as long as they can make use of that extra light). Also if youre not using tap water calmag is a must, specially when theyre getting big like yours.

Septoria is a virus, meaning you need to carry the virus from an infected plant to yours. Unless you have outdoors plants with septoria its almost impossible.

The burnt tips are only on the top leaves? If theyre only on the top leaves you might be using too much light. What panel, intensity and distance?
If the burnt tips are on the bottom too, feed a little bit less NPK or PK.

I had no idea! I thought the fungal can come from literally overwatering and the soil if it meets the right perimeters

Grow light -aero light wing aw200se (light is intensity 100% ) 12/12 12” from plant. Now they are getting closer to the light and I no longer can keep the distance because the plant is too tall (27 inches)

Also with the overfeeding, you possibly maybe be right with the PK. I’ve cut a lot of the use of any N due to the plant not really needing it at this stage? Cal mag has been regular dose (1/4 teaspoons per gallon) I’m going to up it today and see how she looks in the next few days.

Leaf septoria is a fungus, not a virus. Pretty big difference. And you can 100% get it indoors. The opposite of "almost impossible"

Please Google things you are unsure of before telling new growers they are facts. And if you think you're sure of something, Google it anyway.

My bad, I confused it with the tobbaco virus I dont know why. Still is not septoria and Ive never had it indoors thats why I didnt doubt that information. 10+ years never ever had septoria but tons of botrytis and oidium. I only heard of people having septoria when they have outdoor gardens or live close to fields (not saying it cant happen just saying I never seen or heard of a case without outdoors plants involved somehow). So everything I said besides the fact that is a fungus and not a virus is still true. Wether its a virus or a fungus it needs to be carried by you or the wind.

No, all fungus and viruses that are a major problem for weed need to be carried, usually in our clothes or the wind for indoor growers. Its just that some are more prevalent than others. Sorry for saying septoria is a virus, still its rare to see indoors and I dont think you have it.

You might have to reduce intensity if you see that the tip from the top leaves are getting worse even if you cut feeding. Mine are 150W and at that distance some strains dont like it and some can deal with it, but yours are 200W.

The plants need nitrogen in all stages, they just use less after theyre done stretching in flower. Many people go with veg nutes the first 3 weeks of flower then swap to bloom nutes, but they still have nitrogen.

For clarification, why dont we get septoria but we get botrytis as soon as the humidity is too high? Because there are more botrytis spores present in the air, thats all. Same with oidium. Also I think... well let me google it but Im pretty sure, one sec... yes, spores from botrytis and oidium can travel further and are more resistant and have a wider variety of hosts to infect, thats why, but it doesnt appear out of nowhere, the spores lay there dormant until the conditions are met.
Thats why some people use HEPA filters, but Im not sure they can stop 100% of the spores, they claim to do but never had one.

"In our clothes or in the wind"...Or fungus gnats...or maybe just in your well water.

Dude....you made a mistake. There's no need to double down. Septoria is a fungus. It travels through spores. Very resistant spores. If you have a dirty indoor grow that attracts dirty bugs or you use dirty tools it's almost as easy to get as boytrytis. Humidity is not why you get septoria. You don't need to live on a farm either.

Stop acting like your "10 years" of experience is the last word. We're all here to help out but we should also be learning at the same time. 💚
