Yeah, that's another objection to Fox Farms that we have. We just moved away from it all together.Wow, common sense right there. I got some roots soil coming too. I’ve noticed with fox farms soil that it gets really hydrophobic almost and it’s hard to get a good saturation when it dries out. I’m hoping the roots retains the water easier. I’ve had the best luck watering with biobizz light mix but I’m afraid it doesn’t have enough organic material for this type of organic grow. Thanks as usual bro’s. Spring starts next month here in Phoenix so I’m gearing up for an early season run of autos before the fucking sizzle comes.
I water my plants and the "cooking" soil 2 to 3 times a day now but I do so just so my soil is moist on average I use about 1 to 2 cups each time. This all depends on how dry the soil is by depth. Other main reason I do this is when I have to get up for work early as hell my girl waters my plants. Once I came home and the bottom's of both of my tents had about half an inch of water in them. She said online it said to water indoor plants tell you see water come out the drain holes of the pots. LOL This seems to be working for me but others will have things that will work for them.I want to quickly get back to the beginning of this post with a watering question. I’ve been using Aquamans post on watering in a wet dry cycle with soil and all is good. I ordered some Earth Dust today and after reviewing their web site they have a tutorial where the explicitly tell you to NOT use the wet dry cycle when using their products. They tell you to keep the soil moist with more frequent and less volume watering. This is terrifying to me with all my past problems with watering. Should I be changing the way I’ve been watering for this all organic grow?
You will cause dry spots like that and roots won't grow there properly.I water my plants and the "cooking" soil 2 to 3 times a day now but I do so just so my soil is moist on average I use about 1 to 2 cups each time. Don't get the kind that are 3-in-1, pH, light and moisture. They don't work.Ok I'll have her do that, and guess I'll have to read it again. And a soil meter IDK each one I buy it seems to not work from the start. I think I have bought like 6 now and never get one that is doing the job right.
Hey! I resemble that remark.ADDHD (CN) (and then sum)...Smh
Its suppose to be 48 to 50 degrees this weekend in billingsAnd if I had MY way, we'd be heading for MONtana baby!
i've looked at moving the family out there, but with the local govt and the cost of living, there's no damn point. more expensive than here in WA and the locals won't take kindly to a progressive libtard family like mine moving into their neck of the woods. Its suppose to be 48 to 50 degrees this weekend in billings
Bionic your going to love it here in Montana someday. maybe
Freakin stoner. Cooking don't mean in the stove.
Heeeeey...It may be the NORM for some pplz, just wondering what temps Db uses...Freakin stoner. Cooking don't mean in the stove.
@Dirtbag clicked Like, so is that how you cook your soil?
Tasty buggah.Ooppies...Forgot to post this last night, but was too stoned already...View attachment 1210949
i actually bake soil for my cacti. 400F for an hour is pretty reliable for making sure anything that should be dead, is dead. When starting cacti from seed, you gotta make sure your media is completely sterile, so baking the soil helps ensure that.Heeeeey...It may be the NORM for some pplz, just wondering what temps Db uses...I know @tobh probably tried it too, or is now thinking about it!
