How do you like the camera? Is there anything you would change now that you've had a little time with it? I want to add a camera in the tent to be able to monitor the girls without having to open up the tent all the time.Sharp eyes! That's a Wyze Cam v3 that I got for Christmas. I will most likely be getting it wall mounted in the closet with a SD card installed so that I can do time lapses. Right now I'm just doing some testing with it hanging there
I am really, really, really hoping the onion doesn't carry over or at least evolves over the next couple of weeks. I hate onions lol
That's cool. Has audio too so you can talk to them. Lol Edit: that's a cheap price for a PTZ camera. makes me wonder if it's worth it or not.How do you like the camera? I'm looking at something like this:

LOL! Actually I CAN use it! If I'm away I can actually see and talk to whoever is there taking care of the girls in my absence!!! I'll be the voice of God bestowing the holy edict of marijuana!!!That's cool. Has audio too so you can talk to them. I would imagine that it zooms pans and tilts like the link I posted? How practical is it? Where do you think placement would be best so that you can get a good look at your crop and also zoom in on particular areas of interest?I have a Wyze doorbell cam so the v3 was an easy, obvious choice for me personally. I also didn't need anything overly complicated and from what I can tell so far this will do just fine! Still need to get a SD card slotted in to test out some more features but I'm happy with it

@Mikedin is running Wyze in his thread.
Yeah they where on sale as for a 3 pack for like $79 when I got them so I bought that I use the other one in the front of the house, I’ll pick up more most likely the 360 degree ones for outside as well, time lapse was the only option I was looking for when I bought the cameras From what I read these had a huge option range for their price and I do like the view on themI knew I liked @Mikedin
@RootsRuler the v3 basic one that I got does not pan remotely, but you can zoom and pinch on the app. Kinda just have to play around with the initial setup to get a good spot but they may have other cameras that provide more functionality. I'm okay with just a basic feed that I can use for timelapses :)
I so dig watching the leaves rise in the dark!
Thanks for jumping in @Mikedin .
Not tech savvy myself [old] but I know you and shade could get me set up.
Seems like a simple, safe and smart way to grow what we love.
You guys rock!
i thought that was pretty cool too. it's like dracula has awaken lolI so dig watching the leaves rise in the dark!

this one has PTZ looks pretty good too like the one @RootsRuler posted on.The Wyze cams are super simple. Download the Wyze app on your phone. Scan the QR code on the Wyze cam to connect/sync to your app and that's pretty much it!

These cameras can be set up in literally 30 seconds, they are cheap and effective. And I love watching the leaves chase the light as well it’s my favorite partI so dig watching the leaves rise in the dark!

wow idk why i didn't think of this before, but great idea of putting a smoke detector in your tent. These cameras can be set up in literally 30 seconds, they are cheap and effective. And I love watching the leaves chase the light as well it’s my favorite partbut yes I live the smoke detectors, just need to upgrade but they also make remote sprinklers
Need to add more stuff but I like the fact of knowing what’s going on at all times these are other brand of remote wi-fi smoke detectors I’ve been using for a year so far
hey bud, are you referring to wyze smoke detectors? I can't find those do they make a smoke detector? thanksYep yep WYZE cam V3 with 128gb card in it, time lapse options are crazy customizable, anywhere from 3 sec per interval to I believe 60 DAYS, WYZE does make pan and tilt cameras as well
These are 10 minute interval time lapses over I believe around 30 hours
FYI I’ve had other cameras the fuzzy in the blurple lights is common lol, not all do that but you’d have to buy and test
I’m also upgrading my wireless smoke detectors to their brand for the tents, and possibly some other cameras they make
