Ok so in 3 gal probably will benefit with some perlite added. Thanks for the quick response. I’m using a 4*4 tent. 600watt hps, 3 gallon fabric pots in coco. The temp is 23 when lights off and As high as 28 when lights on. The humidity stays between 50-60% I’m using Remo’s 7 part fertilizer. My initial feeding ppm is around the 480-500 now. All 4 have burnt tips but this one is the only showing those dots. I had a CalMag issue with the same plant about a month ago. I feed once a day around 1 litre of feed until I see some runoff. I feed 2 days and third day is straight water.
I have about 10% perlite that I added after seeds were 2 weeks old lol after I read some posts that it helps with irrigation.Ok so in 3 gal probably will benefit with some perlite added.
What's the runoff numbers?
You should never give coco just water and always need good runoff.
Hkw much of what exactly are you mixing so I can look to see what the ratios are.
Ok you got some tox going on there. What the ppm going in? After everything is added.I have about 10% perlite that I added after seeds were 2 weeks old lol after I read some posts that it helps with irrigation.
As for nutes, 8ml/gallon of the following: Remos micro, velokelp, magnifical, bloom, nature’s candy and astroflower, first time using this line or any full line for that matter and it’s probably not a good idea to be trying it on my first coco run lolView attachment 1128476View attachment 1128477View attachment 1128478View attachment 1128479View attachment 1128475
Ok so that's not to bad... but those plants can drink up to a gal a day. The fact your giving a litre and not much runoff means even if they are eating it up you will likely end up with ratio imbalances over time. It's really important to get runoff. When I fed half strength at 250 ppm the runoff was around 440ppm. The one in the back corner that I’ve never been able to flush because it’s hard to get to with the screen up and tight space send to be doing the best and it’s runoff is over 1000 lolol. It was vargieted so I just let it while the others I lstd and topped
It's a good idea to flush with and enzyme then follow that flush with a light feed or you may see deficiencies. Normally a flush is 3 times the volume of the pot.I added extra phosphorus and potassium today thinking it might helpLolol. should I just buy enzyme cleaner and try to save her. From what I read that stuff gets rid off salts and breaks down rotted roots
Of your not getting the runoff needed then yes you need to feed more until you do... these should probably be at 2 and maybe even 3 feeds per day. First at light on then half way through and if 3 are needed then 2 hrs before lights out. No feeds needed over dark period.I read somewhere on here that coco should stay wet and less than 1litre/3gallon fabric pot every feed should provide sufficient runoff. I don’t get any until I give 1.5litres or more. Should I aim for a gallon a day from now on? I was scared I was feeding too much when I saw the burnt tips. It’s 2am and I’m going to feed them a second litre right now. Thanks a lot for all the Advice Aquaman
Any recommendations for enzyme cleaner? Never used one, I read somewhere dish soap does the same thing when it comes to getting rid of salt build up but won’t get rid of rotted roots.I read somewhere on here that coco should stay wet and less than 1litre/3gallon fabric pot every feed should provide sufficient runoff. Energy is cheapest here after 6pm lol So my light is on 6-6 and I feed right after light on but I’ll do 6 and 12 from now on. I can’t wait until I setup some type af automation. I saw this gravity fed drip system online with a 10 litre res bag but I thought it would be useless so I might just build one or if anyone has suggestions about a not so expensive system I could buy would be nice.Of your not getting the runoff needed then yes you need to feed more until you do... these should probably be at 2 and maybe even 3 feeds per day. That's sad at 4 weeks flower bro at lease your hair haven't brown lucky flush till it read 1.2 ec set ph to 5.8 check water temp is at 19 c to 24 c and how low is your temp going down at night when off .. a cannazym will disovle bad roots and turn them into fast food so more can grow again to me your medium is to cold like roses do in winter that's when Epsom salts get rid of it but feel your leaf that tells u on what to feed themCould anyone please tell me if I’m heading in the right direction. I’m on day 24 of flowering and about 2 weeks ago I noticed my leaf tips were starting to burn so I checked my runoff and it was about 200 units over initial feeding solution. I flushed with tap water (60ppm in my city) then 1/3 strength fertilizer.
I thought I took care of the problem but a few days ago I noticed bronze/ orange little dots on the bigger leaves. Today I was supposed to switch to the highest ppm feed so far but I’m nervous thinking I’m just going to add the problem.
After doing a bit of research I found out that I should be using an enzyme cleaner the whole time when feeding but it’s my first grow in coco so I’m learning a lot of things. Any recommendations for an enzyme cleaner would be appreciated.
I referred to the bible and from what I understood is it’s most likely a potassium deficiency. Now trying to figure out the cause. Any advice will be greatly appreciatedView attachment 1128453View attachment 1128454View attachment 1128455View attachment 1128457View attachment 1128458
Drip I wouldn't to much risks of rot I do 4 40 second feeds a day and some time I check at feed time to see if any are getting run off so I turn it on a bit longer after feed to make sure they are there is all kind of signs to look for like they are not drinking they won't drink if it's to salty for them or if u let them dry out you can't feed them the same ec as u will Od them water is best if they dry out because they sucked up all the salt then u pump more salt into them and fried them so we can give pointers but u do them and u could end up killing them from it and then u think we made u do it not every one on here can grow stonker blooms but can get blooms as average ones like one guy said gnats do nothing and are good lol and make their own dodgy soil up best way keep it simple and easyEnergy is cheapest here after 6pm lol So my light is on 6-6 and I feed right after light on but I’ll do 6 and 12 from now on. Thank so for that feedback, I’ve never had these issues growing in soil before only some bug issues. With coco I’ve had no big issues but all these Nute problems. I don’t even think over got my EC to 1.0 yet. This was the week they were supposed to get the heaviest feed and then this shit happens. When lights are off, the temp is around 22-23 Celsius. I’ve never checked Ph though so maybe it’s something to do with it. Time to invest in one I guessDrip I wouldn't to much risks of rot I do 4 40 second feeds a day and some time I check at feed time to see if any are getting run off so I turn it on a bit longer after feed to make sure they are there is all kind of signs to look for like they are not drinking they won't drink if it's to salty for them or if u let them dry out you can't feed them the same ec as u will Od them water is best if they dry out because they sucked up all the salt then u pump more salt into them and fried them so we can give pointers but u do them and u could end up killing them from it and then u think we made u do it not every one on here can grow stonker blooms but can get blooms as average ones like one guy said gnats do nothing and are good lol and make their own dodgy soil up best way keep it simple and easyand listen to the growers who have proof of what they are saying ok growers love as really I shouldn't be here helping but if everyone helped each other the world would be a better place as I can end up in trouble with the people I work for but they will tell me off as I am to valuable to them
