If it’s down pouring with hail then yeah I’d say bag it up and take off the bag and get some air moving ASAP to reduce chance of rot. Just my 2 cents

I’m not worried about heavy rains watering my plants because in past years the extra water at this time of year tends to swell bud growth, especially if it’s gonna be sunny for several days after rains. Just make sure plants are supported with stakes, strings, cables, etc. to prevent branch breakage. Remember that plants need food and sun for good buds but above all they do need water (plants are 80-90% water after all). So after rains:
—shake or blow buds dry
—spread branches and pull plate leaves for max airflow
—look for pests after rains and spray BT if caterpillars are a problem
—get beach umbrella for rain protection for future rains

Nope. Gave up on tent but do plan to use tent frame with plastic cover for temporary coverage during next rain events in several days. I’ll also use my Tommy Bahama umbrella on a smaller plant like I did last year. The plastic is needed to cover the top middle air vents that tend to pool and leak water. Just remember to secure outer frames of umbrella so it doesn’t spin in the wind.
