had my plant in a super cold garage since day 1 of flower. Temps like 60 daytime 45 at night. Humidity is in check. Had a really weak light on her till about week 5 of flower and then put her under a better light. All my trichomes are cloudy but not a single amber one. I cut nutes about 18 days ago. No fading has happened yet. My pistils are 85-90% orange. Do I harvest or keep her going till I see the fade and the Amber? It’s day 74 of flower. I have some shitty microscope pics and a little video but it really isn’t the best.

take no notice of the leaves trichs
They turn early
It’s like buds trichs you want to focus on.

What strain is it.

Do you have a pic of the whole plant as the vid being top down I couldn’t see much bud

It is difficult to tell.

Sativas tend to not turn amber trichomes so if you have a Sativa dominant, you could wait 13 weeks of flower to see them and then you are well outside of the optimal harvest window for maximum thc.

Indicas tend to turn amber trichomes to signal their primed. Indicas contain the most CBD content and this is what usually depicts if the trichomes turn amber within the window.

So going beyond the crest and looking for amber you are dropping thc content to obtain higher CBD content at the cost of thc potency. Especially and more so with sativas that your crest before you see amber. Also, you risk hermaphrodite if left beyond its harvest window for too long.
