personally don't think that's necessary at this stagePlant is coming to end of week 4. Was hoping for it to grow taller and get more nodes before topping, but it looks like there are some white hairs coming out the top now (which I believe means it’s starting to flower right?). If so, will it be advantageous to top it asap or will this cause damage? Appreciate any advice!
Is it an auto or photo?Plant is coming to end of week 4.
Those might be preflowers and are normal and nothing to worry about. Was hoping for it to grow taller and get more nodes before topping, but it looks like there are some white hairs coming out the top now (which I believe means it’s starting to flower right?). Feed it. A potassium silicate supplement would encourage branching, which is a good thing.Appreciate any advice!
The light actually started closer with more hours. A couple weeks ago I moved the light further away and a bit more darkness at night to try and get it a bit tallerThanks for the response.
It is an Auto. Jealousy XL.
I haven’t given any nutrients as the soil I’m using claims to have all it needs from start to end.
There was a humidifier in there so maybe residue has something to do with water in humidifier?
I’m planning on topping it because I don’t want to end up with just the 1 bud on top (the cola?) and nothing else. All others seem to have multiple branches with big buds on each. No idea how much bud I can even expect of this plant, what do we reckon is realistic judged on its current performance?

First set of 5 finger leaves have come through now :)Is it an auto or photo?

I wouldn't top it yet. Wait till it has five or more nodes. How it's trained depends on whether it's an auto or photo.

I see slight light stress, so it might have too much light. They don't need much during the vegetation stage. The amount of light will affect the internodal distances, though, and it looks like you recently increased the light because the nodes are closer at the top. I suggest reducing the light intensity.
It looks like there is some residue on the leaves. Have you done some foliar feeding?
Could be a number of things but if I had to guess. Why are the leaves so small and few? Watching time lapses of other grows they all seem to get big fan leaves and lots more vegetation by this point?
Exactly! I usually let the little plants finish if I have room for them, but sometimes it's best to start over. This is a good time to figure out how to do it better next time.Plant more beans.
It sounds like you're growing an auto-flower plant. In most cases, topping an auto hurts your yield. If you want to bush her out a bit more, simply use a pipe cleaner or similar and bend the plant over so the tip is lower than the next highest branch. This will help your plant bush. After a few days, untie the plant. You may need to do this again to bush it out enough to meet your expectations.Plant is coming to end of week 4. Unless its an auto its pre flower, if it isnt an auto top it. If it is then it's gonna be tinyPlant is coming to end of week 4.
