I am about to remove my plants from a tent so I can use my entire closet instead. To do this, I will need to drain the reservoir, otherwise it will be really heavy and increase risk of damaging my plants when I move it. I then plan to run some tap water or RO water through the system to give it a bit of a mid grow cleaning.

So my question is, should I also add 3% hydrogen peroxide during this cleaning? If so, how much should I add per gallon?

I use bennies, but plan to reintroduce about 1/4 of the old solution to the reservoir after the cleaning.

I decided not to even clean it. The whole process took too long, so I didn't have time. Once I put it all back together there was a small leak so I had to prioritize that over cleaning. No root rot, so didn't need it anyways.

I use a 20/80% Vinegar to water. To clean all my hydro. They use the same method to clean at home/office water dispensers it eats away salts and build up. Just rinse well with warm towels dry. I worked in spring Water bottling plant for a couple years. That's why my plants only get El Dorado spring Water, if I won't give tap water to my dog I won't give it to my plants.
