A Grand daddy Purple and a Sweet tooth both the same age The ST from seed and the GDP clone both sprouts close to the same size March 1st I topped the Sweet tooth a few times today (16). Should have another dozen or so tops to cut in another couple of days. its 14" out of the pot and should be somewhere around 48 tops after that chop. Maybe another 8 weeks veg because I won't have room in the flower room until then. I guess I'll have to pot up. The 3 gallon will be too small for her. I'm turning the GDP in a couple of weeks after my Galiano Candy & Chemdog are done.Happy monday, we have a blue light special todayView attachment 958105View attachment 958103
Greetings, you've got a few months on me in age and similar in other circumstances but my wife doesn't smoke. WTF is that you're growing with the monster leaves in pic 1?
I've been growing indoors for about 20 years but until I came here about a year ago I was just muddling along. I now with the help I've received here have improved my growing 1000%. A good group here to help with any growing problems you may have.
Watch out though this place can get expensive with all the equipment and toys I've found out I needed lol. Every day it seems if you do enough reading here you'll find you'll need something else. I read I need an EC meter? for what I have no Idea but I read that I need one. another$15-$20 from Amazon.
I been told I need an ec meter. Not sure why but I've been given info that says I need one so I guess that's next....it'll give me something else to worry about. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Another $15 Amazon lolYep, I have 3 tds meters, 2 ph meters, litmus paper, ph drops solution, and a long list of other things ... My excuse? It's my hobby. Who doesn't sometimes over-spend on their hobby .... lol
TDS meter and EC meter is just 2 different ways to measure ppm from what I heard. Have I been misinformed? If so, if you already have a few TDS meters. why go buy an ec meter? If I am wrong about that, I would like to know what the difference is.I been told I need an ec meter. me too I know some meters have 3 readings ppm,ec & temp I bought the wrong one as its only for ppm. I don't really need its just another toy to play with.... ticks the wife off when I say "Dear I need another toy for my room" lol its never ending. upgrade upgrade upgrade is my motto these days... I can thank Seraphine for that.TDS meter and EC meter is just 2 different ways to measure ppm from what I heard. Have I been misinformed? Upgrade Upgrade Upgrade ... that's what I do at work as we go through the evolution of developing a prototype into a piece of robust industrial machinery. Why should my grow area be any different?me too I know some meters have 3 readings ppm,ec & temp I bought the wrong one as its only for ppm. Um, no horse in my garage last I checked ... lolEC (electrical conductivity) is the measurement. PPM is .5 of Ec. And tds is .7. And some companies use .7 and call it ppm like botanicare. They are just different conversions of ec.
Confusing yes. But no dumber than meters and feet. How many hands high is your horse?
My hometown in southern Michigan still has places to tie horses and cart parking in Walmart. Lot of Amish in the area
Its much easier to be talking in the same measurements than trying to convert on the fly for my brain. So if you guys with your fancy mumbo jumbo start talking in Greek I can at least look at my meters ago...oh ya I get it. Its not really to help the grow much, more to feign wizdom as wize old man and impress the young & newbies with all my fancy toys and new found lingo.EC (electrical conductivity) is the measurement.
