Help! Something going on with just 2 plants. Others completely unfazed by it.
So I gave the girls a dunk in my nute mix to help saturate on top of top feeding with a cup while I dunked.
Usually just top feed and where I was scooping I found a pile of ion-14 at the bottom that was probably getting dumped at random amounts.
Ion-14 is a silica and humic/fulvic acid nute. The ash in it just never dissolves from what I see. I don’t think it would burn them though.

I do have some strangely burnt plants or they have a toxicity showing as a deficiency.

So they got that copper striping around the leave edges that are in between the leaf veins. Looks like a p deficiency from past but quickly kills the leaf tissue where it’s affected.

Reaction happened overnight and flushed the shit out of everyone to be safe. It’s stopped and hoping that the worse one recovers given I’m probably 2 weeks away from flower.
The other only is a real light green color. It only had like 8-10 leaves affected with the copper striping.
Why is it so light green and everything else really healthy looking dark green?

This had some light on it so you can tell the color contrast from her neighbor. She’s yellow.

The copper stripes have meshed and death of tissue occurred after 2 days.
I have already removed some leaves

Some strains are that color or maybe I cant see it that good. So how much were you feeding it according to the regular dose? Half strenght? Full strenght? The fact that the tissue dies quick is not a good sign, did it stop progressing after you flushed? I see some brown and yellow tips, which makes me think maybe you did too many nutes? But need more info to be sure.

It’s not supposed to be that color. Promise. Everything I do is dark dark green.
She was dark green before and turned after feeding.
No yellow tips like with nitrogen.
Just that copper pin strips that are like every leaf segment between the vein. Like with p deficiency.

She stopped immediately after flush so did the worse off one.

They seem to be ok now but I’d like to get them back right and growing vigorously again to make up for it on flower.

Nutes are my usual strength. It’s a stout dose though. Never had an issue till this time. I didn’t use as much nitrogen this time either because everyone was so dark green. Any more would have gotten some toxicity twisted leaves and probably stunted growth a while.

Hopefully its solved, if it stoped after the flush, so far at least, maybe she is just a sensitive pheno to nutes. If they all got the same feeding at the same ph then I dont see why it could have been something with the nutes and its weird that it yellows right after a full feeding so I dont know... it could also be K deficiency like you said but then it wouldnt make much sense if it doesnt get worse after a flush, right? Lets see how she evolves in the next days.
Also a close up of a couple of affected leaves would be nice so its easier for me to compare mentally to something Ive seen before.

I’ll see what i can find on her. All that pin striping turned to dead brown tissue in 48hrs and it blurred the effect.
I’ll pull a photo of internet and show you but looks exactly like that deficiency or lockout. I just don’t know how lockout or deficiencies happen overnight? Like less than 24 hours.

Total craziness to me. I could understand nitrogen burning it down but this was weird.
It had to be the nutes. They were thriving prior. Just ready to get fed.
Rain had washed them out but I use water soluble so I gotta really time things around that to get the benefits

What’s the myth or speculation about grow dots and heat? Do they dump their nutes when it’s hot or hold onto them.

Those pots had some long veg in them and it wasn’t doing like anything. So I forgot about that after I covered them up with more dirt. I’ve been feeding them like this before though.

That’s the only difference but an unaffected one has the dots too?so? Only 3 that had grow dots.
Weird stuff

I wanna see it because when it acts that quickly it could be a fungal infection or a virus, my suspicion if it wasnt the nutes is rust fungus but I need to see pictures so I can tell if it can be or it cant.

Many things look similar or even they have the wrong picture of what it is in webpages. Did you cover them like with dirt from your garden? What soil are you using?

Yes, heat can accelerate the ratio at which ammendments are absorved but I dont know about grow dots in particular. I think that the paleness is too much nutrients and the copper might be that too, a mineral toxicity for example, but if I cant see it I dont know for sure. Do the ones that are healthy have brown or yellow tips on the leaves too? Yellow and burnt tips is a classic sign of nute toxicity but if it doesnt evolve from that its fine, we all get them when trying to push to max dosage in our plants.
