timber is making a badass 6 panel rig with the new v2 qb288.600w so 100w per board, should last 10-12 years run like that and kick fucking ass over a 5x5 or 4x5 area :cool:Growerslights.com has some QB kits you can get ideas from, have no idea if they are cheaper elsewhere.I have 2 hlg550s getting ready to be hung and im going to get 2 more of the DIY 600 kits very soon.Ive been waiting for those new v2 boards and i think there in,6% less power and 7 or 8% more light is what stephen says.
Yeah I just saw v2 boards somewhere when I was looking. I just ordered 2 of the hlg100 with the drivers n all together. I just want to see how bright they really are.Growerslights.com has some QB kits you can get ideas from, have no idea if they are cheaper elsewhere.I have 2 hlg550s getting ready to be hung and im going to get 2 more of the DIY 600 kits very soon.Ive been waiting for those new v2 boards and i think there in,6% less power and 7 or 8% more light is what stephen says.
Are these fixtures worth even messing with for someone wanting to try a LED? Serious discount, seems attractive for a first time LED purchase.
i wouldnt worry about the uv light but those reptisuns put down the burn if thats your game.maybe 3 or 4 hours a day when your not in there.Ok question for you @sixstring. 4x4 grow space and I have purchased the HLG600-V2 3000k. I get the feeling I won't benefit from adding any more red/far red based on the spectrum of the 301B 3000k diodes does this seem reasonable to assume? But I will definitely need to supplement UVA/B and was thinking that adding 2-25w 36" reptisun 10.0 that claim to be effective at 20" would be my best option. I am fairly confident this would be adequate but as a new grower I would definitely value your opinion on it.
Ok perfect thanks for the input. I see what you did there with the sunglasses :)if you are going to order from that spot i would chose that light.the one you linked is "not great" imo ;)

what do you use for pest control? Thank you six string.Yeah bottom number is probably more accurate so 78 and 40 sounds about perfect
is that two pounds wet or dry? That's probably a stupid question. This is exactly what I'm mentally wrestling with... My system is exactly like yours except I'm running another 6 COBs in a 4x8 tent. I would love to make strategic changes without wasting a ton of money on equipment and energy costs. My last run is going to come in at roughly 2 pounds from 6 plants(I'll know the exact figure next week)... can I up that number by simply adding/enhancing the lighting ... I don't know...
