Yes, that's what the Monkey Juice is. It's Bacillus bacteria.

how does it smell

Usually if it doesnt specifically say for DWC, then there is something Organic that will cause Pathogens to flourish (slime), and the Usual Culprit is the Carbo Boost (sugars) Product. Cronk doesnt mention DWC anywhere on their Site!

*For Example I use MegaCrop 2 Part, but If I use Megacrop's Sweet Candy (carbs/sugars) Ill have root rot/slime almost Immediately. MegaCrop says for all systems (Hydro, Coco, Soil) but it doesn't specifically say DWC. Sweet Candy works Great in Coco, but in DWC, rot/slime within 10 days. Their Base Nutrients work fine.

*Also for DWC, there is a Specific Microbe your looking for called "Amylolique Faciens" (Hydroguard or Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide) Amylolique will out-colonize the bad microbes. (its a war of the microbes!)

2 different ways to run DWC, Living or Sterile Systems. You are trying to run a "Living System" these systems are Problematic. Find Someone on here that's running this Type of Rez. They do work but not without a lot of Learning....

I ran flood tables for 10+ Years, until my farm was raided... Semi-Retired now, a small Condo, I run Coco Now. Ill run a simple Bubble Bucket or 2 now and then just to stay frosty! I hope You can get it figured out, Cannabis loves DWC done right. Nice Set-up by the way!

*I run Sterile Systems Only in DWC. Hypochlorous Acid and/or Calcium Hypochlorite is added to the System, bright white roots! no living Biologics or Organic Matter. Good Luck!
