Second grow for me. Cracked the code on germination, got the ladies in the ground and they took off.

The last week or two they stopped filling out, growing taller but small fan leaves, and an increasingly yellow and deteriorating leaves from the bottom up.

I water every 2 or 3 days. Fairly confident my watering is not the issue.

In Oregon. Summer heat is picking up (85-95 at peak) but still 50s overnight. They are in the shade until about noon. Then get full sun till early evening.

The nitrogen deficiency needs to be treated.

It's also worth mentioning that plants need more water as they mature--especially while flowering or during hot weather.

Hmmmm....

There are 2 kind of nutrients.
1. Nurients that are mobile (they can travel from not so important spots to important spots in your plants)
2. Immobile nutrients (they always travel from root to warmest/ussualy highest spot in tour plant)

This is a nr1 nutrient deficid. (Plant takes nutrients from a not so important spot And takes it to an important spot. That is why leafs turn light green at the bottom.

Make a list of mobile nutrients (google) , check what ph range makes them go into the plant and compare it to your soil ph before you add stuff without knowing what the problem is.

Hey @RLane i'm in so. oregon hotter than hell here. I suffer like you but i learned to keep the N going in every watering with the heat. I top dress with worm castings 2cups per 15gal pots scratched into the soil abit. Good luck it's a mo fo during this heatwave.
